I have had this Set now for a little over 2 years, and they are doing GREAT, No Sun, No Rain, and NO Snow, can affect their luster, and durability. I can always count on using them any time with NO fear of stains rust or tear. I would recommend it if you are that hardy outdoorsman like me, always looking for that dependable, reliable, everyday Patio set whenever you have a use for it.

I bought this set 3 years ago. After the first summer, I brought the cushions in and left the frames outside. I had done this with my dining set, which I bought somewhere else, and had no problems. After winter was over, I noticed that the aluminum started to split on some of the pieces. No matter what I tried to do, I couldn't get it to bed back into place. So, I decided to just go with it. I didn't have an extended warranty. The second summer, I noticed the fabric starting to wear thin and tear in places. This year, when I went to take the cushions out of the garage, The fabric was falling apart in my hands. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!! I have been looking for replacement cushions, but there are no premade that fit this set and to have new ones made is beyond the cost of this poor quality set. Save your money for a more expensive set with quality cushions that will last a long time. This set looks great, but the quality stinks. I'm disappointed in Sears.

I bought the Ty Pennington Style Ty Del Sol 4 pc. Chat Set two years ago from Sears. Currently, there is not a single seat cushion in good condition. Each one is ripped along the stitching. I took very good care of them for the short amount of time I could use them. At the end of each summer, I brought the furniture inside my house for storage, where it was never used. There is a warranty on this furniture, however, it's only a 1 year warranty. I haven't had any luck with Sears replacing the furniture, so my suggestion to everyone is either don't buy this set, or if you think you really need it, buy a ten year warranty. Even though, I doubt Sears would ever give a warranty for that long. After finding out Sears wouldn't replace the set, I tried to purchase replacement cushions. The Manufacturer doesn't even make replacement cushions to purchase. If I want my cushions replaced, I might as well buy the exact same set again. Take my advice, DO NOT BUY THIS OUTDOOR FURNITURE SET!

I first saw this set in the store and fell in love with it as soon as I sat in it. Very comfortable. I waited all summer for the price to come down and was able to get this for around 395 with in store pick up. I found it easy to assemble. The finish appears to be durable. The table and chairs were straight and stable and did not wobble. I like the cusions although I saw other reviewers did not. I keep all my cusions to all out door funiture inside my shed when not in use. The club chairs are deep and low enough that if you are a short person your feet will not dangle and if you are tall you can sink in. Over all I am extreamly happy with this purchase and I would purchase additional items to match if they became available. Only thing I do not like is that they are screwed together. I would have preferred if they were welded 1 piece. When I assembled I used loctite 271 on the crews...

This set is a great set for the price. I did some research through the company that makes this set for ******* and for Sears and found out that the set you can get at ******* is almost identical, BUT is made partly from steel. I have heard that water always finds it's way to steel and rusts it. The two sets I purchased at Sears are made entirely from aluminum, which won't rust. I believe this is why the sets at sears are a little more expensive than the sets at *******. However, I did purchase a coordinating dining table and chairs and some coordinating end tables at ******* and I plan on keeping them covered in the bad weather. ***Also, VERY IMPORTANT...When you are putting the pieces together, do not tighten the screws all the way until you have all of the screws in. If you tighten a screw all the way and then try to line up another with a hole, it WILL NOT line up! You must put all the screws in for one piece and not tighten them all the way until they are all partially...

...that mine has two ottomans, a gorgeous glass-top table, and was only $250.00 on clearance in-store at Wally World!!!! Not on clearance online, but they had 12 sets at my local WM.

Apparently you really get what you pay for!" I mentioned that I took reciepts back for price adjustments numerous times. Well, the frames are still in good shape but the cusions are getting noticably worse after each individual use. More specifically, they are losing their shape and some minor stitches. I doubt they will last through next summer. Keep this in mind before buying this set at its full price....

We just had our patio completed mid July 2009 and were in need of something nice, comfortable, and stylish to accent it. WE LOOKED EVERYWHERE! We were pleasantly suprised at how affordable this set was after seeing so many that were such cheap quality and not so attractive. The neutral color allows you to accent them anyway you like. Once getting it home they were extremely easy to assemble. Our family assembled the whole set along with a neighbor who was just hanging out with us admiring the new digs :)in about 20 minutes. We have had numerous comments on how comfortable all the seats are and they are VERY sturdy and oversized which we love. As for the other comments on the cushions falling apart we have not had that experience since the set is only a couple weeks old, but the cushions seem to dry nicely after getting wet from rain or sprinklers. Cushions are an easy fix regardless. We just love this set and wished that extra chairs were sold seperately to add more seating to our patio.......

So far so good. Was very easy to put together, and is solid frame set. We'll see how durable the cushions are - but intend to bring them indoors or utilize a cover to keep them in good shape. They are quite comfortable....

After looking at a number of deep seating sets, we decided to go with this setup because of the quality, comfort, and cost. Cut and Paste shoppers using Bolean searches... Give it up, this set is Sears privately branded, and not sold via any other channel. I never could figure out who the parent importer was from the material I received. Just wait for a good sale and get it. I purchased onsale for $649 + 5% off in June. Frame is hollow core aluminum, but is very sturdy and solid. However, I would be careful of freeze/thaw expansion in the winter. Save yourself some time and get a 4mm allen bit on a flex bit for you drill, as there are a lot of screws. Don't forget to top it off with a nice firepit...Enjoy -l-...

Long story short(ish)... I saw this set online(only) because it is not on display in any of my local Sears stores. Therefore I was not able to get a true idea of how good it was unless I bought it. Since it was exactly the style I was looking for, I went for it. The look is very good, the quality of the cushions leaves something to be desired. The fabric doesnt seem to fit real well and the foam inside is in my opinion too soft. The frames seem to be really well built. Hence, part of reason for the title of the review. Part two of the review... I bought these on sale in the store (where they had to order them). And at the sale price I felt they were a pretty good deal. It seams that extremely high quality patio furniture is really, really expensive. Hence Sears. However, I checked online a two weeks later and they were on sale for even a lesser price ($20). I went back in and the clerk refunded me the difference. No problems. Three weeks later (yesterday) I see online that they are on......

shopped extensively... was by far the best price and just as comfortable, if not more comfortable, than sets twice as much. also seems to be built better. durability... unsure how durable the cushions are, only time will tell but with the money saved vs. other sets you can purchase replacement cushions down the road...

I decided to write a review as it is always the first thing I look for before buying a product. I found it easy to put together. It is sturdy, stable and lightweight. I was impressed with how chic this looks on my chocolate brown Trex deck. I live in Vermont and I needed a set with longevity that would complement my saltbox style home. The cushions are thick and will last a long time, a bit too tan in color but I knew that buying it. I love the velcro straps on the back of the cushions, it will prevent movement and stay in place on windy days. Included in my order were two complimentary graphic pillows for the loveseat,nice surprise. Very happy, very affordable/comparable compared to Pottery Barn products!...

The frame of this chat set is sturdy but the cushions will not stand up to weather. The material is weak and of poor quality....
