jack-in-the-box says "It's pound for pound good to have around" about Sears Craftsman Hammerhead Auto Hammer

Being a well rounded craftsman in the fields of fence and deck construction, I find the Craftsman Hammerhead Auto Hammer to be a valuable tool for those hard to reach areas that I wished I had this device. The framework to these types of construction are built around many lays of land with obstacles and attatched to other fixtures and structures making some tight spots where lattice needs attatching or a spindle to a stair rail. Crawling under a deck for attatching built in hidden storage areas can also be a challenge with limited maneuvering for hammering. I recommend this tool for all contractors in the construction business.
...

tannawings says "AutoHammer-strong enough for a man but even better for a woman!" about Sears Craftsman Hammerhead Auto Hammer

I recently got the Sears AutoHammer, and I have to say this thing is awesome! As usual, Craftsman AND Sears didnt disappoint me.

The AutoHammer really is a great tool- you can get into tight spots, you dont need to be a 'great shot' because you dont miss! There is nothing worse than swinging a hammer and leaving dents in wood or whatever material you're working with. This tool basically eliminates gouges that you might unintentionally make with a standard hammer.

The AutoHammer does all the work for you. It's actually lighter than most hand held hammers, it doesn't make your arm tired, it doesn't require alot of strength. It's also easy to grip. It does all the work for you.

I would highly reccommend this to any woman (or man) who would like a tool that is easy to use and does the job quickly.

I don't have a problem with it only having one battery, as I am a DIY'er and it gives me an excuse to take a break while recharging. :)

Thanks again Sears for a very nice product!!!
...

ridemaster49 says "Great tool for home projects and repairs" about Sears Craftsman Hammerhead Auto Hammer

Have been looking for something for many long years that helps me get a hammer and nail into tight unforgiving places without the look of a contortionist on my face. Not into bending, twisting, or hanging precariously upside down, to secure something beneath something requiring a nail, hammer, seventeen hands, eyes in the back of my head, a mirror, and dead aim (smile).

Along comes the Craftsman auto hammer for home use. Exactly what this former testosterone laced "macho senior dude" was looking for. Has really made life's little home projects and repairs far more enjoyable, and way, way less painful and destructive.

It's a bit pricey for no more than what you get (would be nice if it came with two battery's rather than one for the price you pay), but it's made "Craftsman tough and durable". It's easy to use and maintain. Almost trust my significant other with household use as well (smile). Way to go Sears!!!
