JoeyJingles says "Easily carried and versatile with staple lengths" about Craftsman Staple Gun, Multiple Purpose

In my past I did many carpenter type jobs and the Craftsman Staple Gun worked well installing insulation and other jobs at the construction site.

In my neighborhood I have a rep for someone who has the tool you need and many have borrowed this staple gun for garage sale signs, Christmas decorations, and more.

As a shooter I use it mostly now at the range to staple paper bullseye targets onto the backstops provided. This is handy because there is not much weight or space needed to pack coming or going from home and the stapler performs perfectly.

This Craftsman can use a variety of different staple lengths so you may match your staple to your particular job. Leverage is good and the staples are set well.

Jobs this stapler can do are endless and this is yet another tool you will be glad to own....

JoeyJingles says "Outstanding quality stapler for home or trade use" about Stanley Sharpshooter 4-in-1 Staple Gun

There are many tools you may not start out with but eventually have a need to own and a quality stapler can be one of those unique category tools.

My first need for a stapler came as I was helping a friend make yard signs. We were stapling plastic signs to wooden stakes and bought the Stanley Sharpshooter and 1/2 inch staples. The stapler set these long staples easily into 1by pine boards.

My sister next bought an antique chair and wanted to recover it. The seat wood was 1/2 inch so we used 3/8 inch staples and again with professional results.

I have used the stapler so many times at the gun range to staple paper targets to backstops that it now resides in my truck with 1/4 to 1/2 inch staples.

The Stanley is easy to load or unload. The handle is set to crank out powerful stapling effects. The nose is easy to align where your shot will hit and it gets in close to edges or skirting.

Sooner or later you may have a need and the Stanley Sharpshooter is an excellent choice.
...

Anonymous says "Easy Fire, Ergonomic, All Around User Friendly" about Craftsman Easy Fire Kit Box

I have owned my easy fire for several years now (shortly after it was introduced). It is the only staple gun I still own. I can't believe it is being discontinued.

The easy fire has all the standard features (wire guide, brad nail capability, side "window" to see when empty, etc) but also has the most ergonomic and user friendly design I have ever had the privilege to use. Even my wife has no problems accurately firing a staple or brad nail every time she applies a little pressure to the "loaded" and reversed handle or trigger.

In the past I have used staplers and nailers that had such a hard trigger pull that I often wondered why pull when it's easier to use your weight and push....

I bought this stapler to install new ceiling tile and some replaced J-channel vinyl siding, both are very lightweight materials. The first problem with this stapler is that every time I went to shoot a staple, the trap door where you insert the staples would come open, dropping the staples out of the gun. Second issue is, the driving mechanism is too strong for the staples, they bent in ever direction, but, the right one one. So, it's going back to the store and I will purchase the Stanley model....

I would highly recommend this product, which I have to a girlfriend she as well as her husband has had No complaints what so ever. Knowing how to correctly use these tools, which is Not hard plays a big part in the preformance of the stapler....

Wow! This light weight, easy to use stapler is a great time saver. It is affordable, easy to load, and has just the right amount of power to staple quickly and firmly. As a female user, I can attest to the ease of use and it makes any job that much faster. I highly recommend this tool....

I purchased this stapler to refinish to some chairs. I was SO disappointed. NONE of the staples went in the wood. Many were smushed to the side or just were in part way. Plus, the cord is VERY short, so you have to find an extension cord to use it. Not work the money!...

I love the cordless feature, and the power of this staple gun. Reliability hasn't been the best. I have owned several of these staple guns over the past 5 years. The contact tabs on the battery seem to wear down really fast with use. I assume this is from the friction caused when you are using the staple gun. I also have had the switch to give out on one. It is priced well for the features. There is also a large assortment of staple sizes available....

I purchased the model #68496 electric staple gun with the intent of using it for general around the house use. I wasn't able to shot a single staple without the drive mechanism sticking. I verified that I was using the correct sears staples which I was so I returned the unit to the store. I tried yet another gun, same model, and found it to be just as bad as the first one. I do not recommed this staple gun....
