Great wrenches. Very durable and long lasting compared to other name brand ratcheting wrenches (i.e. "Gear Wrenches") and they are easier to use. I have used both Craftsmen and the gear wrench brand wrenches. The Craftsmen are much higher quality and more durable. I have had to get my gear wrenches warrantied out several times, thank you Sears for honoring your tool warranties, but have never had to warranty the Craftsmen wrenches. I am a profesional mechanic and use these wrenches every day and love them. I actually will move other wrenches of the same size out of the way to get to these wrenches because I prefer them that much more. I actually went and purchased the metric set today. In short, you will not regret purchasing these wrenches but you may regret not purchasing them.

Bottom line: The only way I'll ever quit buying Craftsman wrenches is if I quit losing Craftsman wrenches. In other words the only thing keeping them from lasting me a lifetime...is me!

Seriously, I love this brand. It's great stuff, plain and simple. I make a living as a maintenance mechanic at the corporate headquarters of a multi-million dollar corporation. I respect a quality product like Craftsman. Thank you.

The Craftsman 14 pc. Punch and Chisel Set, Red are solid and versatile set of punches and chisels. I use this set in my small engine repair shop all of the time. They are solid and maintain their edge during use. I have used this set while working my son's project car and I have used this set cutting old and damaged bolts and nuts. The punches work great and I used them to align holes up when mounting engines on buggies, 4 wheelers, tillers, and other outdoor power equipment. I have not had any of the chisels round out or splinter on the striking heads yet. I have a specail drawer in my tool box, that I only keep this set in and always know right where to go to grab them when I need something out of the set, while I am working on something. These were well worth the money and have been true work horses over repeated use. They are USA made and have the famous Craftsman warranty and are a great assortment to have in my tool box. I would reccomend this set to my family and...

I have bought other tool brands for lesser or higher price ranges and the craftsman brand always seem to hold up longer and are more durable than the others and they carry a life time guarantee which in today’s time who needs to buy something more than one time.

This was one of my very first Craftsman purchases that I made when I first starting to build up my tool box and let me say that I have never bought another screwdriver since then. I have never had a problem with not having the right size screwdriver for what I needed to do. And let me tell you, I have used every single one of them. I get involved with a pretty wide range of products and this screwdriver set has done me good for about 4 years now. I have used them on job sites as well as in my own home. I bought this set on sale since I needed one of the pliers. I've found myself reaching for the padded case holding this set much more than I expected, so all in all it's a great deal, at least on sale. My only complaint is that it would be helpful if the needlenose pliers were ground a bit finer at the end, as the jaws are blunt rather than pointed. Otherwise, Craftsman plus case at this price point equals no complaints.

This is my all the time rachet. This 3/8 inch rachet meets all my practical needs. I use it with my extension and spark plug socket to change my car spark plugs. I use it with my deep sockets to change or remove my car battery. When I get my DMV registration sticker, I use it to remove my license plate and put it back on. Come time to change my air filter, I attach my screwdriver bit socket and unscrew the long screws and refasten them.

One rachet for all my general car repair needs.

I bought this Companion 9 piece tool kit with utility bag for my own personal use even though my husband is a contractor and has every imaginable tool there is! After working all day with tools he hates to come home and work on my "honey do" list. I bought this kit so that I could do my own rrepairs with out bothering him. I like the handy carry bag so that I can keep things neat and always know where they are at. These are not heavy duty tools that he would use on a job site, although they are perfect for my needs around the house. They are durable and will last me the rest of my life. I use them to hang pictures mostly, but all the tools come in handy for little fixes here and there. I have also used the tape measure when I am trying to re-arrange the furniture. I like to know if something is going to fit before I move it, espcially if it is a heavy piece of furniture. This tool kit would be handy for anyone to have around the house or apartment.

a must have for everyone. these screwdrivers are durable and the best thing of all, if you manage to break it, sears will replace it, no questions asked. the phillips fit nicely into screws and do not round them out like other scredrivers will. the handles are kinda plain, the classic look... but they fit in your hand nicely, so why would they change it....
