drefazio says "AMAZING" about National V2001 2-1/2 Hook & Eye Sb

By far the most AMAZING piece of hardware I have ever purchased. I'm not kidding. It's beauty and ergonomic design make this the PREMIERE hook and eye latch on the market. There is no comparison. This hook EASILY secures a door in my house. It would not prohibit an intruder from kicking a door in - BUT, a modest wind draft is NO MATCH for this hook. If I had any other doors which needed to be secured by a hook & eye latch so a breeze could come into my house, I would use this one EVERY TIME if there was no door stop around. Simply OUTSTANDING. FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS.
...

dewapepsi says "Great Neck 9 pc. carabiner set is great for camping" about Great Neck 9 pc. Carabiner Set

We camp alot and always find it hard to hang tarps for shade and to keep dry in the rain. Now with great necks carabiners we just strech a rope between trees and use the carabiners to hang our tarps from the rope, its alot easier and faster with great neck 9 pc. carabiner set. I looked everywhere and just 1 carabiner was $1.50 or more. I found this Great Neck 9 pc set at Sears for just under $5.00. There are several different sizes in the set so if you need a certain size for something you have that covered too.
...

Acetominophen says "Smart looking hook and rail 27" coat rack." about Bulldog Coat and Hat Rack Black Rail with Satin Nickel Hooks

The metal pegs are screwed into the wood from the back side and they have a small metal peg so they do not move. The wood appears to be solid. The black screws are metal and the same colour as the wood. 4 grey plastic anchors come as well in a little bag which are in a small box at one end of the box holding the rack. There are four pre-drilled holes.

To install into a masonry wall Get a level and draw a straight line were you want to place it.
With one of the screws in the rack all the way in mark hole on wall ON THE STRAIGHT LINE and screw in, then put another screw in another hole to mark wall and screw in. Do the other two. Remove rack. With masonry drill bit, drill holes for anchors were you made hole with screws. Tap with hammer to be flush with the wall. Do not put anchors if you hit a wood stud. Now place rack back and thread screws so they enter the anchors carefully. When you've seen they've all threaded well into the anchors tighten them....

VeritInMe says "Command hooks work wonders on sensitive walls!" about 3M Command Traditional Hook, Large, 1 kit

In my dorm room, we have ugly, matte painted walls. And there's a serious lack of hooks. Unfortunately, the matte walls mean that we have to be very careful how we put up hooks--and with four girls in the room, we need those hooks! Command hooks to the rescue! These things go on easily--seriously, it took two of us maybe three minutes to get six hooks on the wall, and that included opening the package, reading the directions, and then throwing the packaging away--and come off without leaving any marks on the walls. No sticky spots, no pulled-up paint, and no greasy remains to show that we've been modifying the room we were given. I would recommend these babies in a HEARTBEAT!
...

Damaia says "I use Command Strips for everything" about 3M Command Utensil Hook with Strips - 3 Hooks & 4 Strips

I live in an apartment, and I'm obsessed about making sure I don't damage anything. I saw the Command Strips and decided to give them a try. Initially I just started with the posters. You have to make sure you read the directions and attach the right side to the wall. Now I use them for pot holders, measuring cups, and all the little things that just work better stored out of a drawer. I even bought the ten dollar brushed nickel hook for my keys. I've hung my huge bundle of key chains on that hook, my boyfriend's keys, and my full dice bag (which weighs around two or three pounds) on the hook and it hasn't budged. I had that hook up in my last apartment and it came off the wall clean. When used properly, these hooks really are an affordable answer to keep from blemishing the walls. I've used them for years and I intend to keep using them.
...

I bought these hooks to hold up something as simple as a hat. One adhesive strip wouldn't stay on the wall! One fell when I tried to attach it. Two went on crooked and when i tried to take them off they tore! I ended up wasting a lot of money on cheap hooks that didn't work! :-(
...
