I like this unit very much as it is handy and easy carry to any place. Especially the color, wow, it catch everybody's eyes in our office. The DS ratio is 1:1 and lots good applitions for me in the kitchen. love it....

In working on classic, 1960's USA cars, I have found this meter outstanding! the combo of ohms, rpm, dwell and DC volts is used regularly in adjusting old points type ignition systems and I recommend it to all who hobby on older vehicles....

The device has no pointing beam. The instructions are incomplete. They do not state how far away from the surface being measured the device must be positioned. The hold feature does not work. The held or maximum temperature is identical to the measured temperature. The 15 second reading does not indicate real time temperature as stated in the instructions. Suggest paying another $20-$30 for a higher quality, more user friendly tool instead of this one....
