It only works new. You cannot clean it and reuse it. I tried paint thinner tore it all apart but when i went to reuse it it would not work properly.
my suggestion is if whatever your painting can be done in one sitting it will work good. Consider whether the area your painting is worth the price of the sprayer. would not recommend its cheaper and better to use a roller and brush........

I purchased this sprayer on clearance for $30 less than the list price, and would agree that it is worth the full price. My first job for the sprayer was a 6ft tall stockade fence, and in about a half an hour, a base coat of paint was applied to 6 sections of fencing, each 8' long. A second coat was intended, but the job went quickly and the sprayer delivered the coat of paint uniformly. As with any painting job, clean up can be a mess, but all in all, this spayer worked well for this homeowner. Only con..perhaps earplugs would be wise...it is a weee bit noisy....

It just did not perform as expected. Lots of paint over spray. Maybe I just didn't have paint thinned enough, but was overall disappointed in it. I believe if I buy another sprayer it will be air, not electric.

thanks...
