Full featured sabre saw at value price. Quick realease blade instructions unclear I was pulling up on blade realease and should have been pushing down, but Chinese instructions didn't translate I guess.

The saw has work light, variable speeds, adjustable orbital action, and adjustable base plat for angle cuts. Plus according to instructions with care can start cut in "soft" material in middle of work not always at edge or reuiring drilled hols to start.

It best jig saw I have bought, the reason is the variable speeds to tackle different materials from wood to metal and even plastic. The price is what makes this stay out from other jig saws. You have enough power for every job you do. The on board blades is nice so you always have three to choose from. The long cord so you can reach your project, always nice. Black & Decker nice job on this jig saw....

WOW a laser, how cool!! I enjoy the laser as I am not very good at keeping straight lines while I cut on wood so having this option really helps me make a better cut. I haven't used this very much except for a few man projects around my home. I made two nice birdhouses with my wife and they turned out great. Also I put up some shelving in our closets and used this jigsaw for making some simple & specific cuts. No problems so far. It cuts smooth, cleans up well and is easy to store. All things I like, it's Craftsman what did you expect?

Very nice jig saw. I used it to finish up a small project, and the saw worked like a charm. Lithium ion batteries are a must for this saw. If not, make sure you have at least a few batteries fully charged.

I got this saw for $12 on sale. I wasn't sure what the quality would be, but I was pleasantly surprised. I only use it occasionally, so I thought it was worth trying. This is a good, strudy tool. It does everything I need to do with a jigsaw. It's a really good bargain.

A very well rounded saw. Great features that actually work right. Easy to use cutting or changing the blades. The red glasses work great and should come with any tool with a laser light.

This is a cheap and small tool to have around the house. The blade will not always cut straight even after tightening the lever. It goes a little diagonal but you can adjust your aim and get straight lines by not following the directional arrow.

I had a bit of difficultly controlling my cuts on large round cuts (cutting out a 6' diameter table on 3/4" plywood). Did not turn out very good on my side, but then watched my son, who has been working as a carpenter for a year cut a fairly perfect other half. We have used it on several projects since then and have no problems other than it does not seem to get returned to the workshop and therefore I can't find it when I need it! Very handy tool. Wish I would have gotten one years ago.

I do wish you could see where the blade was going more easily though. This would be very helpful when making irregular cuts.

I prefer getting tools like this in cases where I can easily stow the instructions in the case, along with extra blades. I write our name on the side of the tool, and then the name of the tool on the top and sides of the case, along with our name on the top of the case. Put your name up front and in the open. This way I can easily retrieve it out of the cabinet I...

Jig saw was on craftsman week special in the flyer. Yet it took 2 months to get delivery as none were in stock. Doesn't someone in marketing check inventory and general availability before advertising a sale?

Good jig saw for money. 3.2 amp motor does well for occasional use. No complaints so far companion is made by same company who makes craftsman, its all sears which is good enough for me....
