We bought this tool set for my son this past Christmas and were very pleased with the quality and quantity of tools that were included. We always trust Craftsman products and were happy to find that not only were there plenty of tools to keep our son out of my husbands' tool box, but we mught actually need to borrow some of his! The only thing missing on this set is that it could use a place for a pad lock, but that's ok, without one, we can borrow tools whenever we need to!

This is a great begining for a tool box. The tape measure is super difficult to find by itself and it is also hard to find an american made Craftsman utility knife, but this set has them both. The level has a fairly stong magnet on one side for any jobs involving metal. There is a nother set that does include a small hammer with a wood handle for a few bucks more.

This tool set is perfect for anyone who needs a good all around tool set, it is full of sockets and wrenches and is plenty to get the job done. I work on my own vehicles and I always hated not having the right tool for the job and had to borrow one from a friend. Now I have the right tools for any job and for a change my friends come to me to borrow a tool. Not to mention add in the cost of the set and the Craftsman Warranty you can't go wrong with this set!...

I received this as a Christmas gift and probably was the best gift i received. It has a very sturdy bag and so many tools. Even goggles.

I purchased this set to replace a comparable ********** Husky set that was lost in a fire. Overall they are no better than the HD set I had before. I thought I was upgrading when I bought Craftsman but I'm not so sure now. The sizes are poorly and inconsistently stamped at varying depths ranging from barely readable to very pronounced. The font size and style of the stamp varies from piece to piece. The finishes on individual parts are inconsistent as well. I have no doubt that this set will last a very long time and is adequate for almost anything I will take on but so was the less expensive Husky set. I would have returned this set and gone back to ********** but HD no longer sells a set as complete as this one. I'm not necessarily displeased with this but Craftsman is no longer "All that”. I do like the organization of the box which is an improvement over the HD set I had although I don’t trust the latches. I'm not confident that carrying it by the handle wouldn't eventually......

Excellent quality, as are all of the other craftsman tools that I have collected over the years. Rachets are quick and well geared, and will NOT slip a bit. Like I said, craftsman is all I need to say, as that statement gets the point across. I have been a mechanic for over 50 years, and I still swear by Craftsman. The warranty is great too, but I have only returned one socket that I broke with a 4 foot pipe on the ratchet, and it was replaced without a question. Loota tools, lotta years, and only one breakage? Like I said .. Craftsman.

As reviewed by others, the drawer flaps do not hold the drawers securely and I got to organize a floor full of tools in the apartment hallway. I received a socket with a crack in the plating and another where a large piece of the plating had already fallen off. This is a good combination of tools but every time I bought a set (every few years) the quality decreased.

These are excellent tools. Very durable and easy to handle. I am an auto mechanic and use them a lot. The wratchet wrenches operate very smoothly and don't strip tight and rusted bolts. I would recommend these tools to anybody.

I bought this set as a starter set. This set has a complete 1/4inch drive, but it does need some more 6 point 1/2inch drive sockets. What this set is missing is a box to store it in i found a 5 drawer ball bearing one for under $100, http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10155_12602_00931018000P. And from personal experience i also bought a longer 3/8inch drive ratchet. Over all this is a good set to start with.

This set is full of all the sockets and wrenches to get most any job done. I have placed them in the tool box and now have what I need to work on my truck or tractor or lawnmower. For the shade tree wrench turner this set will let me handle any task that come my way...
