bisbeesmiley says "Okay but keeps dying" about Fisher Price Fisher Price Smart Cycle

My 2 yr old son recieved this as a gift from his gradfather(my father) for christmas. I guess the graphics aren't awful to where you can't see anything, but they remind me of how the old regular ninetendo games used to look. The learning activities in the games are good. We have the game that came with the cycle and the disney Cars game. My nephew seems to like it and he is 5 yrs old. My son is too young too really understand how to play it yet. The only thing that makes me sad is that you have to buy four "D" size battieries for it to work. Too bad they didn't invent a plug- in for an outlet. The batteries die super quick. I mean within a few hours of playing they're dead and I have to buy new batteries right away. I think I'm going to ditch this product on my nephew's door since he likes it so much and I'm going to buy a game system that plugs in....like the v-motion v smile.
...

litany says "My girls love their Disney Mix Sticks" about Disney Mix Stick MP3 Player - Ice Blue Chrome

We got our daughters (ages 6 and 10) each one of the Disney Mix Stick MP3 players for Christmas this last year. I was a little skeptical because I wasn't sure they'd even use them after the first day, but it's been going on four months now, and they haven't put them down! They're able to hold a lot of songs, and I can even recharge them using the USB port on my laptop! They're perfect for car rides or just listening to around the house. My only complaint is that they seem a little cheaply made, and I'm worried they're going to break (the power button that slides broke off of my youngest's player the other day, but I was able to snap it back on after some reworking). Still, I would highly recommend these as they are a huge hit with my girls and a much cheaper alternative to the pricier brands that are out there.
...

hollywoods says "The Fisher Price Smart Cycle was a SMART buy for me and my son!" about Fisher-Price Fisher Price Smart Cycle Learning Game System

As a disabled mother of three children (one toddler,) I look for toys that will be educational as well as a good method to help "burn off" the excess energy my toddler has prior to nap time, and while bubba and sissy are at school. Three year olds tend to climb the walls and bounce off of anything with a hard surface if they get bored. With me being disabled and winter approaching quickly, I was concerned that my son would go crazy being stuck in the house with mom on her "rough days." I failed to mention that I also live in a small apartment with a tiny patio. Not quite sufficient for running off the willys. Ha ha. I sometimes feel guilty that I cannot take my son out to the park to ride his bike or play on the playground. When the rain gets here, it wont be much of an option anymore anyway so... I bought him the Fisher Price Smart Cycle. The Smart Cycle is great because it gives my son that "bike ride" that he so craves and all while playing fun games that help to prepare him for Kindergarten....
...
