my son loves the tracks, a great thomas addition to the tracks he has, he learns how the train loads and unloads and helps with his building skills....

My daughter LOVES LOVES this set!! She loves Thomas and was really happy to get this as she saw the Movie that goes with this. She plays for HOURS with her trains. Best part of this train set is it connects with other Trackmaster sets. We have had no issues except for changing the batteries in Thomas but that is just for so much use.

My son has loved Thomas the Train since he was 2 years old. He is now about to turn 7 and he loves the Trackmaster series the best. I think he owns pretty much every one of the Thomas Trackmaster sets and engines now.

This toy is cute and has a very well design. I like how you can load everything into one container. I like how there are colors and my child can learn the different sizes to play with. I just wish it would hold together better....

Thomas and his friends trackmaster series is a much larger version than the take along ones, they have the same variety of trains with the benefit that these are much more easier for the kid to handle, they come with different coaches and add ons that make for hours and hours of playtime, not to mention that the price ranging from $10 for a single train to $18 for the ones with 1 or 2 coaches is affordable and cheaper than the competition!. Ad to these trains a track set like Action Canyon or Spin and Fix and a movie like "Hero of the Rails" and your little one will embark in a great and fun journey to the island of Sodor.

Unfortunately, I usually don't take time to review a product, but I have to say my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this purchase and I had to respond to this review. We were looking for a train to put around the Christmas tree and that would entertain my 2 1/2 year old. This set is perfect. The train stays on the track, it is easy to setup. The remote is so simple, my son uses it...EVERYDAY. My husband will have to grease up the wheels alittle from the overuse. The item is decent quality for the price and my son now says a train says "ALL ABOARD"..Great item....

This track expansion kit does not work with the train set I ordered although it is a "G" scale set. The track expansion kit is for electric train sets, not battery operated sets. More information should be given describing a porduct so customers would not have to return items as often....

We purchased the train set for our 3 year old grandson. At this stage he is unable to put the track together by himself, but in time it will be a wonderful puzzle for him to master. The trains and items with the set are well constructed, easy for little hands to grasp, and the variety of items allows for wonderful creative play....

Previously bought train for 2.5 year old. He loves the train. Battery last about 2 hours before you need to recharge. He is impatience during the recharge period. Train will come off track whenever he doesn't lean to the in side around curves. He has not learned to lean in....
