We spent months looking for a quality kitchen table set and the prices of course are very high on such furniture... I came across this set - on a great sale ( table, bench, and 4 chairs we purchased) about 7 months ago and we have been very happy with it!! It is all real wood, which was a must, and the color is beautiful. I had looked at similar styles, in furniture stores... tons more expensive and I don't think that they are any 'better' than this one! The table and bench are both sturdy and solid; constructed with quality. However, I have to mention that the 4 chairs, although they look great, are not sturdy. This is the only drawback, but considering the price, I am still satisfied with them. We are a family of 3, with a 4 yr old, and we are not 'hard' on our furniture, but these chairs seemed to loosen up quite quickly and I am a little shocked that in comparison to the bench and table that more care in the assembly was not used. Okay - so they're not the highest quality chair in the universe. But they're cute, stable, and comfortable. I have had positive comments from literally everyone who has seen them and sat in them. The red is a nice shade - not too orange but not too dull. When I took them from the box, the wood on the bottom of the chairs was a bit rough where they had assembled certain parts so I took some sandpaper and smoothed it out. That is not required - but since I want to keep these for a while, I thought it was worth the one-time effort. The upholstery is staped to the bottom of the seat - so I took my handy-dandy staple gun and put in a few more staples and added some glue to a few spots to ensure a long life. Again, not required. It goes together pretty easily. The back and legs come as one piece. Then the seat. Then the front legs and cross bars separately. Each leg is labeled with an "R" or "L" for left and right. BEWARE - some of these were wrong. It's pretty easy to figure that......

Purchased 2 sets of these chairs so we could finally (after 3 years) have xmas dinner at the dinning room table without using office chairs and now we find ourselves eating there every night as opposed to in the kitchen or the couch.

These chairs are really very well made (and I know what I am saying, I'm 74 and have restored more old furniture than you could want to read about). If you take note of the picture and the amount of cross braces, 2 on the sides and 1 front and back, try to find something comparable to that for this price anywhere on sears or another site, you won't. They are also quite comfortable to sit in with the curved back. Everything is made from solid wood, no MDF or slats glued together here, even the seat is one solid piece. The stain is excellent quality too, no runs no globes no missed spots, no problems there either. The assembly directions were quite clear and easy to do except for one side of each where the back attaches gave my hands a check of a hard time getting...

Found this deal online. Arrived as expected.I took a risk cos it was Sears and ordered 6 chairs(3 sets of 2 chairs).Came neatly packaged in 3 boxes. Took me and my brother a total of 1.5-2 hours to assemble all 6 chairs.Instructions were very clear-all the required tools were provided but they short changed us on washers.I felt disappointed because they were just around a dollar or so for a pack of 10 at ******.The final assembled product is very comfy with soft seats and backs.Very elegant looking,yet light.The only potential problem I see cropping up is if the chair were to rub against the walls,the faux leather would erode and then wouldn't make for a pretty sight.I otherwise I would highly recommend this chair-they were priced at quite a lot less than in other sites.PS:I even snooped around on the Sears website and found a code for free shipping! Saved a neat 150$! Cheers Sears!

If you apply the slightest amount of pressure sideways these chairs begin to make cracking sounds. They feel flimsy and are made cheap. I guarantee they would not last long in a house full of children like mine. The color is also a bit darker than the image here depicts....

I just picked these chairs up at the local Kmart. BTW the price online is $79.99, in-store $54.99 for a pair! Similar chairs at other popular stores run 2-3x this price for just one chair! They look really nice and feel sturdy.

Note: back and seat upholstery is connected by a seam (use/sitting may pull on this seam). So far I am pleased. We will see how they hold up to my boys. I will review again after some use (maybe 5 stars then).

I read the reviews on these chairs before I bought them so I knew what to expect. The fabric on the chairs are much lighter in the picture. When I received them they were more olive green than beige. They are very comfortable, the legs matched my table perfectly and the price was great. When putting the chairs together there were some washers missing in the package. It took a little while to get the screws lined up with the holes but after I got through putting the first one together it got better. I have received so many compliments on these chairs from family and friends. I would definitely recommend these chairs.

I am extremely pleased with these chairs. What I couldn't glean from the previous reviews is that they actually come *pre-assembled*! That was a very pleasant surprise, considering I just purchased my first home and have a lot of work to do. The quality seems very high as well! I can't attest to how long they will hold up, but they feel very sturdy and the fabric is beautiful.

The only thing I would note is that the color is somewhat darker than depicted: more of a medium beige than a light golden tan. This doesn't bother me at all, as they are both neutral and should complement any décor - BUT, if you had something specific in mind, you may want to consider that factor.

Anyway, all in all, I'm impressed! The fact that these are selling for $50 a piece is an unbelievable deal. I've seen much more expensive chairs in furniture stores that don't hold a candle to these. :)

I noticed these chairs in my local store and was amazed by the price. I had been planning to purchase very similar chairs that were far more costly. These chairs are of comparable quality and the price can not be beat. There weren't enough chairs in the store so I placed an on-line order and was able to pick up my chairs within a few days. I do wish they came in more than one color. This is a beautiful neutral color that fits almost any color scheme. They have the simple yet elegant look I prefer. This is definitely a bargain to brag about!...

These chairs look like leather, they are beautiful and perfect for any style... I got them on sale for 49. They are so comfortable that when I had a party at home people sat comfortably on them for a long time... its more than a simple dining chair its necessary for a small space since it enables you to use them as sitting chairs...usually I hate the woden chairs since I got back pain with them, these are pefect for anyone with a good or bad spine.... I also bought the "essencial home farmhouse table" and they look like they were made for each other. I highly recommend it.
