http://www.mysears.com/Over-the-Range Tue, 07 Feb 2012 16:34:47 GMT Reviews about Over the Range http://www.mysears.com/LG-2-0-cu-ft-Over-the-Range-Microwave-Oven-w-Warming-Lamp--303642-review-bc0a4 <p>I have finally had it with this microwave, and feel that I need to share my frustration.  First of all, this $450 microwave is no comparison to the $100 that sat on my counter.  So I'm paying a few hundred for the cheap range hood that is really not useful.  The display decides when it wants to work, I'm now at the point where unplugging it doesn't even fix the problem.  It just loses its mind occasionally, sometimes it takes what I hit, sometimes it delays (up to 10 seconds) and then takes it, but by that point, I've tried many things, and it doesn't work.The microwave is so huge, yet not very powerful.  I am seriously debating just getting rid of it and replacing it with one that works well!Reheat is a joke, I have to type in what I'm reheating (pizza, dinner, soup and something else) and then either it is too hot, or the center is ice cold.  I now have my $99 microwave on the counter while I wait for this one to be repaired, and my old microwave reheats with the touch of a single...</p>... The added microwave looks like the same stainless that samsung offers....and the biggy here is this Kenmore Microwave is 10 times better in heating, pre heating and lighting. As I compare my GE 1.7 cu. ft. macrowave to the other, more expensive name brand microwave I am amazed at the differences.</p> <p>My GE microwave cooks evenly, thaws (not cooks) foods making my cooking time less stressful when I need to defrost something for a quick meal. The price was less expensive but the ease of installation and amazing features like quick thaw, and highly efficients settings have made meal preparation a pleasure.</p> <p>I have been using my GE 1.7 cu. ft. microwave for well over two years now and it is still performing as it did when I first brought it.
