I have been looking for a sale on this item for almost a year. I found one on **** but it was not complete. I ordered the rest through sears parts direct and ended up paying around the same price if I had ordered it through Sears and picked it up in the store.

I love this thing. I don't have to get the big wagon to pick up small things like rocks or debris. It was not designed for the DIY novice to install, takes a bit of re-engineering on some garden tractors but, no problem I still love it!

It was great to have it instock at the store. easy to put on the tractor. no complaints cause we can start the tractor now without the jumppack.

The craftsman tractor solenid is not a quality product. I tried to use 1 for what should be an easy job for it. Not a starter but four off road lights in a 40 amp circuit. Starters draw far more amperage than 40 amps. If this solenoid cant handle off road lights how can it handle a starter? I wouldnt even give it the 1 star but the review page requires at least 1 star.

You can find the part you need on Sears.com, add to cart, select "Store Pickup," take your email receipt to the store and just pick it up OR find the part you need on Sears.com (sold by Sears not parts direct) and call your local Hometown Sears Store, have them order it for you and get free shipping to your house! Very quick shipping time also!

What a wonderful system. Was looking for a plug aerater, ran across the attachments on Craigslist and had to investigate.. boy am I glad I did. I purchased the Base, the dethatcher and both the spike and plug aerator (all new from Sears).

The base and the plug aerator had to be assembled.(base about 20min and the aerator abit longer as you have to attach each blade) no real big deal. The base is very sturdy, as are all the parts. I have used the dethatcher and the plug aerator already and they worked like a charm. I aerated after a good amount of rain but still decided to put two landscaping bricks on the deck, and it worked very well. I have a 20hp Cub cadet, but I know my old 13 hp would have been find too.

The base has a very wide and "strong" stance to it. I say this because I had a little star aerator in it was low profile and just felt cheap. I thought instead of having 2 or three pieces of equipment, this would make sense. I only hoped that it would be of...

I purchased one of these with my new YT 4500 mainly because of the looks. The one installed on the tractor in the store was red. When I had my tractor delivered my bumper was installed but it was black. It doesn't look the same. The installation also seemed shoddy since the release lever was bent down almost 90 degrees. I like the bumper, i just wish it had been red like the one in the store.

I purchased this for my Craftsman 21 HP lawn mower. I have fairly steep hills and gutters on both sides of the lawn. This really makes steering easier. I am using it a lot more than I thought I would when I first bought it. It is a little expensive but it is very good quality. I can run the mower in a higher gear and have better control so I get done faster.

I have a Craftsman 28858 yard tractor.

The side brackets do not align with the bolts.

I had to take off the wheels and make my own holes.

The unit itself seems to be sturdy.

I was thinking about giving it a one or two star rating for wasting my time.

I purchased the Craftsman Professional Brush Guard for my PYT9000 tractor (247.28888). I like the bold, agressive, styling of the guard, and the protection it offers against an accidental mishap. This was a "must have" accessory for me! Assembly and installation is easy, requiring about thirty minutes to complete. The brush guard fit fine; however, I did modify the mounting hardware. As supplied, the brush guard mounts to the tractor frame with two shoulder bolts, and two self-tapping lag bolts. The shoulder bolts have too much shoulder, and the lag bolts were not getting a good bite in the frame rail. This made the guard loose and rattly. I added two stainless lock washers to take up the slack on the shoulder bolts, and replaced the self-tapping lag bolts with two stainless 5/16"x3/4" bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts. This removed the rattle and play out of the mount. The added hardware cost less than $2, and would be under $1 using regular steel hardware. In fairness, I imagine...

When I first seen this a few years back I was reluctant to wanna pay the what seemed to be high price. After reading the great reviews of how easy it was to use and how it made a rough job effortless, I bought it. The Install was pretty easy. I installed it on a dual wheel 20 HP cub cadet with 300 pounds of suitcase weights for a lot of traction on the tractor itself. . I mostly use it for with the box blade (also sears). Over and over because of the great down pressure it will nearly fill the box blade with dirt and carry it to where you want it. Turns a hard job into fun again. I think it will apply 400 pounds lift and push down pressure might be slightly more. Very Impressive with wheel weights

I was looking for a wheel kit for my Craftsman LT1000 mower with a 42" deck. Found these. Did not realize until they arrived via UPS that these are for the FRONT of the mower deck. No where on the online description did they mention these were for the front of the mower deck. After looking long and hard, I finally found the ones for the rear of the mower deck, or at least I think I have. They at least show a picture of them mounted on the rear of the mower deck. I am returning the others.

This soleniod kit was an exact replacement for the soleniod that was in the tractor. It was very affordable and installation could not have been easier. My friends Craftsman tractor had starting and charging problems. This was traced back to the solenoid. After the easy installation and a freshly charged battery, the tractor is working like new!
