      <description>&lt;p&gt;On my own I would never have bought a pair of food scissors though I have seen them for years in stores but the little Italian wife got me hooked on them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I believe in sharp, quality knives and wooden cutting boards so any duties a food scissor could do was done with various knives in the past and I thought this area was complete. I married a lil' Italian woman who had used scissors as her preferred cutlery most of her adult life so suddenly they were tested by me also.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When making soups or many other things a cook may want individual meat pieces to be fairly small. With a knife this means lining up and repositioning and then cutting and moving and so on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There are two ways in which the scissor is faster not to mention safer around your fingers and hand. Using a boneless skinless chicken breast as example you first trim off all remaining fat which is on every piece. This is much quicker with food scissors. Take the breast then and simply start cutting your specific size with the scissors....&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
