KMart started carrying Sears appliances after our Sears store closed, and the store has a knowledgeable, dependable staff. Before purchasing this range, I had a Jenn-Aire dual-fuel sllide in range. Due to several breakdowns of the control/circuit panel, that range was the worst I ever owned. I rarely knew if the oven would bake continuously, and as an avid baker, it was a huge disappointment. I always had a gas range prior to the dual fuel range, and I still prefer a gas range since the Jenn-Aire.

The Kenmore range I now have has an a oven that bakes in the time allotted in a recipe, a quick warmup time, dependable oven temp., and the range top grates, heating discs and elements are all dishwasher safe.The self-cleaning oven is also another super feature for ease of maintenance. i would recommend this product.

I am just scheduling the forth repair on this stove since I bought it! The controls will melt if you use the upper oven or the back burners

We purchased this for about in 2008. In 2011 first the bottom ignitor failed and now the top ignitor has failed. Each repair cost $200. GE was unwilling to help defray the cost since we had not purchased an extended warranty. I expect better quality and service from a high priced applance.

Bought this Vent Range Hood for it's powerful 850 CFM air flow, professional easy to clean SS filters. Installation was medium difficult - need two people to hold it up for final cabinet attachment. * Love the variable manual blower speed control (lower settings for scrambled eggs and Goulash soup). Full power - no cooking smell even with garlic, onion sauté or curry. A must have range hood if you want to keep the value of your home (without the spice smell). * Two Lamps for the front cooking lights enough to see when the omelet is about right. * Two Infra-Red Warming lamps in the back keeps the sunny side up warm while I make the pancakes. Initially we just used (2) normal 60W Spot light which enhances the back burners. * My wife loves it because she doesn't have to run to our outdoor burner when it's cold outside. * The light and fan switches are heavy duty. We have the Range Hood for 6 months now and still "Vove" it. * We have not evoked the built-in Heat Sentry yet.......

I selected this model in part because dimensionally it generally matched my old Nutone hood. The installation was reasonably easy. At a certain low speed my old hood fan, even when new, would go into resonance and tend to rattle the wall. This fan runs smoothly at all speeds. The back panel, fan cover, and top of the hood are not stainless steel....

I have bought and brought home numerous bulbs to replace the ones that came with the unit. I have even gone back to Sears and asked a salesman if there was some secret or even a "special" bulb. I am look for another range at present. This is not what I expected and it was expensive.

We bought this stove when we moved in the new house 5 years ago after we lost our house in Hurricane Katrina. We were a little leary in going with electric after using natural gas for 20+ years. This is a wonderful stove with the glass top (you can use barkeepers helper to clean it easily). Haven't had an problems at all ... very pleased!

I agonized for about ten days before I actually made my purchase, researching all the features and reading reviews. I"m really glad I chose this range. Wow! I've had it now for about one month and it cooks everything fabulously. The cook top heats really quickly, and the oven heats pretty quickly, too, but it takes longer than my old stove did. It's oven is bigger and I think that's why it seems to take longer to heat, though in truth usually about one minute depending on temperature. My husband and I cooked a prime rib roast via the convection conversion feature on Christmas Eve. What a beautiful roast -done to a tasty and colorful perfection. I expect I'll have many good years of service from this range.

replaced my range, looked on line for a good price, sears had a cheaper price than others. so went looked at it, went home. talked to my other half, we went the next day brought it home, i sure do love it its so up todate. it is very easy to use. all works great.

Very nice telescoping downdraft to be used with the island cooktop. It raises high above the counter in order to catch the smells from high pots with a built in motor. The top edge (still visable when the vent is retracted) is very sleak and refined, without a lot of detail which makes it great to match existing appliance.
