An excellent set for my kind of work as an mechanic. The 6" extension allows me to impact bolts out and torque to 210 foot pounds.

The swivel allows me to get around steel plates while tighting and removing nuts.

I purchased the 3/8 Craftsman impact swivel when I decided to replace the exhaust system on my 1998 Chevy Camaro. This was a smart buy and it has been used many times over. It made getting the old exhaust bolts out must easier. Using the PB Blaster and CRC Freeze Off to keep the bolts from getting too warm and breaking was a plus. Having this swivel adaptor allowed for an easy reach of the exhaust bolts. This was a great addition to the impact toolbox and I would recommend this for any DIYer. As for the project the new MagnaFlow exhaust sounds pretty awesome. This job was made a lot easier with all the Craftsman tools I had available. This is impact swivel adapter has nice range of motion and the right amount of stiffness to allow for the socket to stay upright when reaching into the tight spaces....

This set was purchased due to needing a 3/8 drive set to reach some exhaust bolts on a Chevy Silverado. The 1/2 drive was to big to fit in this tight space so the 3/8 drive was ideal. The swivel joint made getting these pain in the butt bolts a breeze to back out. Using some PB Blaster and CRC freeze off with this set turned this into a 10 minute fix. This Craftsman 3/8 impact set paid for its self on the first use. This is a must have set when working from the floor without a lift. In this case even with a lift this set would do the job very quickly.

This swivel works fantastically! If you have ever tried to use a "Knuckle" style swivel on an impact wrench you know how horrendous it was. This little guy works very smoothly and can't be beat when you are working in cramped quarters with stuck fasteners!

Had to put upper transmission bolts in on a chevy s-10. Couldn't get them with a nomal swivel. This swivel stays on and connected. I was able to put enough torque on them with out the swivel binding.

You can't ask for more. A 1/2 to 3/8 inch adapter for various sockets to be used. Quality built and will last for a very long time. Lifetime warranty is a plus also. Great tool piece.

I purchased this tool previously ,excited that sears had finally produced an extended length allen /hex wrench set to be used on my ratchets. Upon my first need for use of it ,I became extremely disappointed!!!

1. Some of the smaller sizes were 1/4" drive ,which I hadn't noticed when I was buying it../drive sizes shouldn't vary in one package!

2. The size of the tip did not remain constant throughout the length of the shaft.../I work with breakers that have lugs recessed ,and need for example a 3/16" hex wrench to be 3/16" diameter the entire length of the shaft!! These are 3/16" at the ball tip ,and then enlarge to 1/4" diameter for the shaft; therefore I cant fit it in the hole to reach the lug!

3. They never manufacture an allen/hex wrench set with adequate sizes to satisfy an electricians needs!!!../ We electricians need sizes all the way up to 1/2" !! the sizes we most commonly use are...1/8" ,3/16" ,1/4" ,5/16" ,3/8" ,7/16" ,& 1/2"
