I bought this scale to keep track of my weight and body fat while dealing with cancer. I use it every morning for this purpose. More often than not the scale requires me to step on it more than once (up to 8 times) before it gives a reading. It will display "Err" on the screen and the documentation simply says to try again. I believe the scale has a design flaw that would result in this condition....

I'm one who always like to give gifts that are a bit whimsical. The Cannon Silhouette Wastebasket is much more than a trash can; it can be used as a piece of pottery that doubles an umbrella stand. My neice who is having her first apartment welcomes little touches of creativity in decorating on a shoestring budget, so this definitely outshines the Pottery Barn and Pier One as a viable alternative, as well!...

I bought a bunch of these baskets to use as organizers in my new apartment. They are so handy and fit in with my decor great. Everything is wood or green and these were a great add on to my existing decorations. Now we have less cluter and a little more style

We had ordered this particular item because we thought that it would be helpful with separating our recycling. It was, but one of the lids broke off...an it wasn't that hard to do. The overall construction of this product is great, but it is really short, and once a lid breaks off...there is no fixing it. Take your chances, but if we knew better, we would have put our money on something else!

We've had this scale for about a month and it works fine so far. It was easy to program and is very easy to use.

UPDATE: The scale stopped working after about 3 months. We have not tried contacting the company yet.
