e300diesel says "Worked for 3 minutes & sears refunds are not easy " about Professional Woodworker 18 Gauge Brad Nailer with 2 Gallon Twin Stack Compressor Combo Kit- 8682

Not bad for a sub-$100 compressor, but it did not work and some parts seem cheaply made. I was not surprised, but I did not expect it to fail so quickly. It ran for 3 minutes and never got to 100 PSI. At 60 PSI, there was a loud click and then it sounded like just a belt or fan running, no more compression. The accessories are adequate, but I did not get to use them, I just returned everything to sears.

The Sears 5 minute return process, however, is complete non-sense. The clerk said, and I quote - "The system is only offering me a manual return and the company will mail you a check" After insisting on a proper refund, as was promised, the clerk inside did a 'manual refund' and gave me cash back. Oh, and the return Kiosk, is located at the Pick-up desk, something that wouldve been good to know up front.

I bought this nailgun as my first nailgun in my tool collection. I had never really used a finishing nail gun before but I needed it for my "furniture-making" projects. It was really easy to use and the features are really straightforward. It has a rapid nail feature as well as a single shot feature. It is easy to unload a jammed nail.

I have used it to nail together different pieces of wood with nails ranging from 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches. All of them work really well. There is enough power to do all the nailing I need to do. It is light-weight and comes with a carrying case for it. I plan on using it to make different pieces of furniture and to put up crown moulding. I would recommend this gun to a friend. One con is that it seems a little difficult to switch out different size nails in the middle of using a particular size.
...

I've only used it to nail together one workbench drawer (yes, also glued), but boy does it make life easier! I bought the nailer mainly for installing oak floor trim but haven't used it for that yet. Over the years (about 53 of them so far) I have tried to buy mostly Craftsman tools. Most have been a good experience but occassionally I get a real dud. This nailer hasn't been used enough to make a judgenment on endurance. Ask me again this time next year!...

TMello37 says "Worth the money - a huge time saver!" about Craftsman 16 ga. Finish Nailer Kit with Magnesium Body

I purchased this nail gun to help out with some trim work: casing, crown molding & baseboards. Ever since we bought a new house I've been working on trim and it has seemed like a never-ending product. Since I bought this nailer last month I've been able to move so much faster - it literally cuts the time more than in half! Lots of power, very portable, and in my case it was well worth the money. The nails are also surprisingly inexpensive! I think I got 2,000 nails for ten or fifteen bucks? That's great!

As a beginner at DIY stuff I was concerned that air tools would be too complicated for me, so I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up, load, and start to use. I'm also very happy with how light weight it is. I couldn't be happier with it so far!...

My wife and I used this floor nailer to put in 500 sq feet of bamboo flooring. We only had 3 nails not go in all the way during the whole job. It was not the 50P's fault but our for not hitting the nailer hard enough at the begging of the job. This machine is very easy to use but you need to keep track of nails because when you get low around 20 or 30 you can't see how many are left. Run best on 105 to 85 lb air pressure.

Wife did most of the flooring.
...

I had never used nail guns in the past, so I took the leap and ventured out and picked this one up. I am glad I did. I have had no jamming or issues, and have gone through over 2-3000 nails through it so far in just a few months. i couldnt be happier with it.
...

In the middle of a roofing job, my husband was using his old roofing gun, he had alot of problems with it and threw it out immediatly, he bought this from an old roofer he knew and the gun still had some life in it. He called me and said he was on his way to Sears to get what he needs to get the job done right. He is a professional roofer along with his other areas of expertise. He called me and said he purchased a Bostitch Coil Roofing gun. When he came home and showed me what he bought I asked him if I could try it, of course he said no because he did not want me to get hurt. All of his tools are purchased from Sears, he told me why bother with other stores, if there are any problems with anything he buys from Sears they have a no questions asked, and replace his tools. I went one day with him to return something he bought and it was not working right, I could not believe how fast we were in and out of Sears, replaced on the spot, I talked about it all the way home. Thank you Sears for...
...

I do a few things around the house as in shelves, building some furniture, etc..

I love this nailer. I no longer have to clamp things while waiting for glue to set. I just shoot a few finish nails with this thing and walk away. Done. For trim work... bam...just shoot some nails without lugging around the air tanks and dealing with the noise.

The nail gun rarely jams, and is easy to clear when it does.

Battery life is great. I've never run out of juice during a project.

It's a tad heavy, but the convenience trumps that.

If you do trim work, it's a nice addition to your tools that you won't regret.
...
