cindybb says "The Kenmore Front Load HE2 Plus has saved me time and money." about Kenmore Washer - Front Load HE2 Plus

The Kenmore Front Load HE2 Plus washer saves money because of it's extra large capacity, and low water usage. I wash fewer loads and heat less water. I use less soap as well. We have the matching dryer, too, and had it coverted to accept propane. I can see my savings very graphically. I used to buy propane every six months. Now I can go a year between fill-ups! Since the dryer and water heater are the only things that use propane, the answer is obvious!

It saves time because I can add the bleach, detergent, and fabric softener all at the beginning. And wtih fewer loads, I don't have to wash every day anymore!

My only complaint is that the seal has mildewed. It smells when I open the machine. I clean it once a week with Tilex, but it always returns. But, for the time and money I'm saving, I'll deal with that hassle.
...

cindybb says "Everyone who sees it is "wowed" by my Kenmore Elite Double Oven!" about Kenmore Range - Elite Double Oven

When our old range finally gave out, we went shopping for a new one at our local Sears store. I knew when I walked in the door I wanted to know more about the Kenmore Elite Dual Fuel Double Oven range. I wanted the flexibility of cooking with gas, but felt like that wasn't practical if I was to get a self-cleaning oven. This gives me the best of both. My cooktop is gas and my ovens are electric.

The smooth top is easy to clean. The little second oven is perfect when I'm doing something small like baking potatoes or a pot pie and don't want to heat up the big oven. Even more energy savings!

The range is good looking, easy to clean, flexible enough for a meal for two or a big holiday dinner, and it is one of the most dependable I've ever owned.

When Hurricane Ike caused us to lose electric power recently, we were able to use our gas cooktop (lighting it manually) and invited all the neighbors over for coffee and a hot meal.
...
