SHC-ErinM says "Works well - when you use it" about Oxo Salad Spinner

This is a great product - I've had mine for 5 years now and it continues to work as expected. It spins as it should and removes the moisture from lettuces/ spinach as well as herbs or other leafy ingredients. It is a bit bulky and as a result, I have it stored in a cabinet over the sink - hard to get to quickly. I don't use as much as I should, but that's not the product's fault! It takes a bit longer than I'd like to get the leaves completely dry (and tends to bounce around the counter unless I hold it down).
...

SHC-ErinM says "Great magazine!" about Bon Appetit

This is a great magazine for anyone who enjoys cooking. It has a nice range of easy to difficult/ challenging recipes and does a great job of presenting menu suggestions and ideas. The food is beautifully presented. I especially love their "how to" section within each issue offering simple instructions with diagrams on cooking techniques (like carving a chicken). They also have a "what's in season" article each month which details what vegetables and fruits are in season, how to prepare them and a variety of recipes ranging from basic/ easy to difficult.
...

SHC-ErinM says "Sturdy, fast, fun to use!" about Cuisinart 14 cup Food Processor, Limited Edition Metal

I just got this food processor and used it for the first time over the weekend. We used the slicing blade, grating blade and the general metal blade to slice onions, grate onions and mince garlic. I loved that no matter how much produce we needed to chop/ dice/ slice, the processor could accommodate without turning everything to mush or getting stuck. Everything was processed in the expected size and consistency.

It was quiet, fast and really fun to use. I was nervous about switching blades around and concerned it would be a cumbersome process but it was not at all - very easy. All pieces fit in the dishwasher which is a plus.
...
