The curtains definately keep the light out.They also keep a room warmer if your windows aren't air tight. They are easy to maintain.They clean up with a damp cloth.Machine washable.I recommend gentle cycle.I dryed them on air dry cycle.Cool iron if needed. These curtains are a beautiful chocolate in color.I am not one for dark colors however,I used bright accent pillows,area rug and what nots.My room was beautiful. These are a proven energy saver curtain.I saved nearly $100 a year using these curtains.Kept cool air out therefore my furnace run less.Also,in the warmer months it kept the sun out meaning the central air run less. These curtains are great for the worker on grave yard shift.It keeps a room dark as evening hours. I recommend these curtains to every home... I ordered the coffee chalkboard peel in stick decor for my kitchen on the 9th.It arrived this morning the 11th~ That's some fast standard shipping!! Anyway~That was said for free~Lol. The peel N Sticks are apealing and a great accent for my kitchen.They do not look cheap. The decor even came with chalk!! Ya,the coffee cup decals are also a chalk board~Amazing.There are several different size decals.It allows you to select one wall to decor or you can do more small areas.The large cup is huge so I selected the wall behind the counter where my coffee pot is and another wall for the larger decors.
