      <description>&lt;p&gt;I bought this pump to replace an older mostly plastic sump pump that had seen better days. &#160;Installation was pretty easy even though my only experience in sump pumps was removing the old one. &#160;I was really impressed by the weight and apparent durability of this pump. &#160;Once installed and tested I found that since the pump was so powerful and top heavy that when it would kick on it would twist and rest against my well cover. &#160;This wasn't terrible but the cover is plastic so it would cause a vibration which could be heard throughout the house. &#160;To counteract this I did drive in some screws in the floor around the well and attach some nylon cord around the post to act as guy wires - this eliminate any movement. &#160;Overall I am very happy with my purchase. &#160;As mentioned the motor is powerful and empties my well in just a few seconds. &#160;Even though it is a little bit more expensive than other pumps the fact it has a lifetime warranty and I'll never have to purchase another one more than...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
