kathie6968 says "Be careful!" about Diamonds International - Sapphire and Diamond Bracelet

I too bought a bracelet, $6,000 diamond and ruby. I have to say it lasted more than a month of almost constant wearing but within 6 months the clasp broke and had I not been examining it after a night out, I might have lost mine too. You would think that with something as expensive as this was it would have had better workmanship on the clasp that kept it from being lost! Did I have them repair it? No way! I went to a reputable jeweler with the problem. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Wasn't going to take that chance....

kathie6968 says "Courteous and respectful, the best guys in any store ever!" about Sears - St. Petersburg, FL

I had relocated to Pinellas Park from south Florida but still owned my home there. The lawnboy called to say the riding mower wasn't working so from his description I knew it was a belt of some kind.

Without the model number, but knowing the make, HP and cutting width, 2 men in the garden department went right to work. There was none of the condescending attitudes toward women I have suffered from other stores, or "poor old lady" snickers. These men were genuinely helpful, kind, understanding and best of all got me exactly what I needed. I was most surprised because the Sears in my hometown usually has to special order stuff for me as their stock is lacking. Glad to be in my new hometown, with friends I can count on at Sears
...

kathie6968 says "AVG, virus free, great for me, best of all it was free" about AVG Antivirus Free Edition

Paid for McAfee, paid for Norton they scared me into buying. AVG was recommended by a friend and it has been all I've needed the past 6 years. Wonderful product, worth way much more than you pay for it!...

kathie6968 says "Honda Had me from Hello" about Honda EX - 2004

I have owned a Honda since 1994 and although I have test driven Toyota's and similar cars I am happy with Honda. My '94 EX is still a beautiful car to drive, look at and maintain. It is over 14 years old 116,000 miles and that is the longest I have ever driven a car. I have thought of trading just because the trade in deal is always so amazing, but my Dad used to say,"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I am afraid Honda people may not be as conscientious if they find out how so many of us just keep on driving the "old" car rather than buy a new one. It seems my gas mileage is better than newer compact cars, and it is as comfortable to ride in as a luxury car. Even my Dad, the old "buy American" was impressed....
