My mom bought this for me and it looked easy to use. I tried it with my newborn on days we went to visit the doctor and it was surprisingly accurate. In the beginning I did not have much faith in my ability to use it. I watched the DVD that came with it and still I was not comfortable at first. But over time I find that my confidence in using it has grown. It is harmless to use. Just press the button while the thermometer is placed in the middle of his forehead and hold the button and slide it to a temple. You will hear a series of beeps. When you release the button then a temperature reading will display.

The only cons I have with it is that there is no light when it displays the temperature reading. When I take my son's temperature in his dark bedroom I have to leave the room to see the reading. Another con is that it is not consistent when taking multiple readings. I usually take 3 readings on the same temple and they are within .1 degrees. I usually get the same reading two out of...

I like to check out the prices of many retailers before I buy online. Especially for big ticket items. I even research hotels and travel discounts before I book. This website has saved me hundreds of dollars and I only found it 6 months ago! I check RetailMeNot before finalizing any purchase. I can often get promo codes, discount codes and coupon codes before purchasing. I booked my hotel at 20% the cost it was advertised for. All because I looked up and found a code that worked for me. It works for many retailers. I also saved money when I bought a game on *******. I will always check out this website before I purchase anything again online.

After making babyfood on my own I tried Beechnut. My baby likes it as much as the homemade kind I make. We have tried all fruit and veggie varieties. It is inexpensive and when we go out we take it along with us. I like the fact that is has a longer shelf life and can be stored for when I am in a pinch. It even has natural ingredients which is important to me.

I have the kitchenAid mixer and have used it for about 4 years. It is heavy duty for my needs. I love to bake and make multiple batches of cookies. It has no problem mixing it. It has many mixer settings for all my needs. The only drawbacks for me are when I try to add ingredients it does not have much clearance between the bowl and the mixer attachment. I find the I must scrape the bowl thoroughly to ensure a good mix. It is very heavy to lift but I recently remodeled my kitchen and added a mixer lift and now I use it more frequently. I enjoy using it often.

I purchased Rock Band for my husband in 2008. I thought he would play it and then get bored with it. This is not the case! We have Rock Band parties and use it monthly. I love that fact that we can download new songs ( songs that we actually like!) to make it constantly changing. We upgraded to use all the wireless instruments to make it easier to relax and play. The instruments do use batteries but we buy the rechargeable to save money.

Pros for the game: constantly adding new songs (for a fee), allows 1-4 players, fun for all ages

Cons for the game: we do not like some of the songs, lyrics are not for all ages.

I have tried many credit cards but I always come back to Discover. The cash back option and the rate at which I can accrue points is great. I especially enjoy the additional money I get when getting rewards with their cashback partners like Chili's, Lowes, Ace, Kohl's, etc. I use Discover whenever I can. They are excellent on security and call me whenever there is any suspicious activity.The only downfall is that it is not accepted everywhere....
