( I have hardwoods in the  entry, diningroom, kitchen and familyroom). I have trouble with dog hair getting balled up in the hose to the cup, and find myself having to empty the dirt cup frequently.  I will go back to a bagged cleaner soon.  I have owned this cleaner for several months, and it barely works now....
