GE color changing icicle lights are bright and attractive with fourteen chasing/blinking/solid patterns to choose from the wireless remote control. The remote also turns the lights on or off so no timer to set. Best price is after Christmas. 21' long, 26 lights, 7 colors each.

Powerful, quiet and compact. Ran perfectly for the three days without power when Hurricane Irene came to town. Now on loan for this Halloween snowstorm and still purring. Powerful enough for one major appliance and a houseful of lights and entertainment systems. Cheap on gas too, @3-4 hours/gallon. Has a low oil shutoff and warning light. Lightweight since it only generates 110, no 240 output.

I leave a few cans at the cottage in spring that lasts thru the summer. The best part is that the weedwacker and chainsaw always start, even after leaving Craftsman pre-mixed 2-cycle fuel in them thru the winter. Try it, you'll like it.

One can lasts several years. I leave the hose and wand attached to lubricate all the o-rings in those fittings too. My pressure washers are 8-10 years old and good as new, due to Craftsman Pump Saver.

The Diehard model 71222 Charger/Starter has never failed me over the past few years. Got it on sale for a reasonable $40 and have used it to jumpstart cars and bikes many times in the 50A mode. Haven't used the trickle charger but the 10A 12 volt charger with auto shutoff is fast and convenient. A necessity for any mechanic....

Ordered the SPM216144222 VoitV7 Mens Tall +1" steel golf set and bag on Sears.com 12/7 and they arrived today, a week later, from Golf Outlets of America. China has apparently mastered graphite as well as steel. Nice beginners set for my son, a putter, massive graphite driver, 3 wood and 4-5 hybrid with headcovers, stainless steel irons and carry bag for less than $150. Looks like a good value and should provide many rounds with him over the next few summers.

Gave one of these to my brother for buffing a soda-blasted aluminum boat. Looks like the Craftsman model 10721 7" corded buffer did a great job, he didn't break it and had no complaints so I went back to Sears and bought the Craftsman 10" 2800 rpm "Buffer in a Bucket" for myself. I'll let you know.

What could be simpler for a tasty bite with a bowl of soup? The Cuisinart Sandwich Grill makes a great grilled cheese. Butter the bread, a slice of American and wait for the green light to tell you its perfect. You can add your mustard, ham or tomato, you can have your panini maker but for me this venerable American classic stands out on it's own. Makes 1 or 2.

Get more plastic bushings right away, they wear out fast especially if you make turns. The Agri-Fab does what it says it will do, make slits in the lawn for air, seed and fertilizer to reach the roots. Pushing is difficult but possible, dragging it is easier especially if weighted. Best used after a rain or light watering. Mine is 3 or 4 years old now.

Plastic in Fall, metal in Spring... that's the wisdom of raking. The Arnold powerrake blade with two metal tines seemed a bit much for my Eager 1 so last year The Craftsman dethatching blade got it's chance. From all the thatch in the mowers grasscatcher, it works. Three bags full of dead grass again this year from less than 5000 SF of lawn. It's not as thorough as raking, but a lot less tiring. Having read the other reviews of this blade, I disagree... the blade is on par and will cut grass too.

Needs to lose the metal scraper bar and foam, since they are not Lifetime Guaranteed (fine print sticker under the handle). Let the polycarbonate be the scraper, and make it a little narrower, step width for stairways.

Plays 6,300 Yards but travels more like 6 miles. Leo Martin Memorial is a DCR course, owned and maintained by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. That means no tee times and overplayed. The course is horribly laid out with long distances between many holes over busy roads and the Charles River. Plays well during dry seasons but after the river floods, drainage is a frequent problem on holes 6, 12 and 17 (which never dries up). Not a particularly challenging course other than finding a decent lie or putting through a flock of canada geese. Only the Blues have actual tee boxes, the other tees are mainly pegged on the fairways. Amenities include a putting green, driving range and steamed hot dogs. Worth playing once or twice but not a favorite.

The best $38 for a round of golf I've ever spent... many, many times! The Woods of Westminster is one of those little secrets that's getting around eastern Massachusetts. Located within a few minutes of Rte 2 overlooking Mt Wachusett, this 18 hole mountaintop course offers a weekday special of a round of golf with cart and lunch for under forty dollars, and the second round is another sixteen...thats a full day of golf for $54 plus drinks. The course is in great shape and carts are allowed on most fairways. Forget about walking tho, the cartpath from the 7th to the 8th is straight uphill 1/4 mile and the 9th hole is 325 yards of straight downhill, a drive to the green leaves an Eagle putt. There are Eagle putts on many holes if you drive straight or over the trees on the doglegs but the woods are also full of balls and the abominable "snowman".

Home cooking at the clubhouse or a wrap and chips to go. Driving range and proshop, the people are great. Call ahead for a teetime,...

Pleasantly greeted at least twice and the Tewksbury Sears Essentials looks great! Missed getting a slice at Little Ceasar's (Something about Eddie and pizza, I heard) but that area now has a sparkling display of grills and accessories ready for the hurried barbecuist-to-be. Didn't get any attention in electronics which requires some seriously knowledgeable sales people these days, but surely could have gotten some help if needed. Checkout was ok too, a nice crew. Hope the wife enjoys her new surprise golfbag, SpongeBob balls, and fingerless glove with the girls at Wayland tomorrow :)

The definitive driver in your vacation bag.

My last pair of Mall Walkers are 30 years old, and the new ones feel just as comfy. Classic styling, flat soles for all day walking and the price is reasonable at 75 bucks.

Wide feet not a problem, all sizes available. The worst thing for your 9 1/2 EEE foot is to compromise on a size 10 or 10 1/2 D. ITS THE WRONG SIZE! Some Hush Puppies are available at retailers, but the full selection is online at Hush Puppies.com. And if weight is a factor, try Gus with the ZeroG system, lightest shoes ever.

No shoes for vegetarians tho, all leather uppers.

An American experience, everything we believe in and cherish is there, history, science, adventure, the future and the beauty of all things real and imagined. If you get good weather, lol.

Packages and airfares are being discounted, park hours extended and the crowds are comfortable. Security is probably much tighter than appears and all bags are opened by guards at park entrances. Try to spend a day at each of Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and a couple nights for the spectacular fireworks at Epcot or the Magic Kingdom, best viewed from in front of the castle. Recent additions (this century) include Everest Expedition at Animal Kingdom, Aerosmith-inspired Rockin' Rollercoaster and the Lights, Motors, Action stuntcar show at Hollywood Studios. Even a full week at Disneyworld barely covers the ground, and fun everywhere... parades, rides, costumes, architecture and all the wonderful Disney cast members, it's like a cult! Also new (for us) are "fastpass"...
