chismas says "A Great Buy" about Kenmore 30 in. Freestanding Gas Range

This oven is a beautiful addition to our kitchen, it looks great! We decided on a kenmore after a lot of research, this model is rated really well by **************** and it is certainly one of the more affordable options from the list. It takes a little longer to heat up than I had expected, but is still an improvement from what we started with.

Pros - I love the different sized burners, the large one is really great for my big soup pot and I use the littlest one all the time for simmering sauces and my little pans. All the options are great too - warm setting and baking timer! The inside is really large compared to our old oven, definitely space for cooking multiple dishes at once. Everything has seemed to cook really quickly and evenly.

Cons - The top is black and really hard to keep clean!! Every little splatter of food, oil, or water stands out and wiping it leaves streaks all over. The display if you are timing or cooking shows only the temperature or the timer,...
...

I use this every day and so far, it's been just what I need. I never use the arms as intended, but use them for stability sometimes. I also never use the programs. If I could have found a machine for less money without either, I'd have bought it. As is, this is the best machine I could find for what I was willing to spend and it has performed well. It was a bit of a hassle to assemble, although doable, and I'd recommend paying the extra to have it done. It took my husband and me about four hours. Assembly is a two-man operation, so be sure you have help. I'm very happy with this treadmill.
...

This shed was such a waste of money, we spent the first day making our ground completely level and we still got none of the holes to line up. The directions were terrible, telling you to put things together when 6 steps down the road you have to take it apart in order to do the next step. We had to make our own holes all over the shed due to nothing lining up and it took such a long time, the finished product is ****. They also give you duct tape to seal the seams ( this wont last one summer) buy silicone or that just right foam in a can to seal the seems! HONESTLY spend a little more oney and build your own wood shed it will take just as long I promise!!! Don't put your self through buying this product it is a rip off and cheap materials too! Who knows how many years this will last before it will have to come down, my guess 2 years!!!
...

silvimama says "Great price (I got it for $209 on sale) and cleans dishes well." about Whirlpool 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher w/ Soak & Scour

This a nice machine.

Pros:It cleans dishes well and has many options for the price: pots and pans, sanitize, normal & extended wash, heat dry, no heat dry, etc., deep top and bottom drawers, so you can wash just about anything, and it's an energy star appliance!

Cons: Could be quieter (but it's not too loud), the silverware tray is attached to the door, which is kinda funky, but I just removed it and put it inside the bottom drawer( I guess the door function is good if you have a lot of dishes and need more space), long "normal" cycle (about 1hr).

I'm happy with the dishwasher. I would buy this machine again. But I'd get it on sale though (I got it for $209 on sale) .. I think you can find a quiteter machine for $369.
...

First i gotta say that the picture quality is up there with the top name brand t/v's. The sound, after some tweeking of the EQ settings, sounds like a 4 out of 5. Its not mind blowing but it definitely gets the job done. You wont be disappointed. The issues i have been reading and researching about with ghosting seem to be that the right hookups arent being used. If you plan on gaming with this tv you will need a version 1.3 or later, catigory 2 hdmi cable. I play racing games and i see zero ghosting. Just and fyi, the response time on this tv is 6ms. The human eye cant see anything under 10ms. Plenty of picture tuning options but not an overwhelming amount. I have not one dead, bright, or funny looking pixel, and even if you do, it comes with a zero bright pixel defect guarantee from vizio. This tv i think is the best 32" 1080P tv with a low responce time and shows 1.06 billion colors. You cant go wrong with this tv. So hurry up and go buy it, you'll thank me later....
...

I researched bottom freezers to death. We needed a stainless and are very concerned with energy cost and savings. Many if not most models cost above $2000. This one was on sale for under 1500, was financing free for a year AND had a rebate for delivery. The delivery, unfortunately, was a disaster, and Sears has lost all my confidence as a result. The installer did not stay long enough to insure that the fridge actually COOLED; the information booklet said it takes "24 hours" to regulate temperature, so we were not appropriately alarmed when the temp never went under 60 degrees the first day. I kept reading the book and seeing that it needed time. I called Sears that evening only to be told the same. The next morning (after everything in the fridge was sour/dead) Sears said they could come to repair the NEXT DAY. I lost well over $600 in food and was told that Sears will only cover $100. They are replacing the fridge with another December 5, which means as far as they...
...

Couldn't pass this up at the sale price it was being offered at. So far, so good. The Sears delivery guys were friendly and efficient, and took the time to go over the basics of the machine. AND they were actually on time!

The machine is extremely quiet and very easy to operate. One feature I like is that is shows how much time is left in the cycle. My only complaint is that even on the loudest setting, I can't hear the buzzer from upstairs (the machine is in the basement), where I could on my old washer. But given all the other positives, I'm not too concerned about that, since it tells me how long the cycle will be, so I just make a mental note of when I throw the load in.

If I had to recommend this washer to anyone, as of this point, it would be a thumb's up.

Note: I've had this washer for a couple months now, and have done approximately 10-12 loads.
...

Purchased stove and had installed on 10/16 discovered a problem with the oven and called tech support they assured me a tech would call within 24 hours. After 3 days I started calling Customer Service. several weeks and calls and still no tech. I hired a local reairman to come and look he said I had a faulty valve and warranty would cover it but he could not do it. (230.00 labor to diagnose) Called customer service a couple more times and they said I could return the stove. That would be a 250 mile round trip on my dime and still no stove. Finally I was called by a tech on 11/16. ( yes one month later) He said he would have to order the part and it would take 7-10 days. ???? Has Sears not heard of NEXT DAY AIR??? Well it is now 11/22 with Thanksgiving in 4 days and still no part. And still Sears does not seem to care. Been a loyal Sears customer for years this will change. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!! Will make an actual product review if it is ever fixed.
...

I hesitated buying this sweeper because of the negative reviews I read. It really did the job. I'm 64 and my lawn is uneven. Last weekend using a leaf blower and vacuum we spent about 4 hours clearing the lawn and I was exhausted.. This weekend with the sweeper we did it in half the time. I was tired only because I'm out of shape for that much walking. We don't cut our lawn - we have a service that does it but the service ends before the lawn is really loaded with leaves. It was easy to pick up the areas where there were a lot of leaves but then I took my time and lowered the dial and cleaned up the yard better than the younger neighbors did on their lawn. It was easy to empty. I just grabbed the handle on the bottom and turned it upside down. The capacity in the bag is sufficient to gather up a big enough area. I'm really happy that I bought it. It wasn't difficult to put together. I've never written a review before but I felt I should so that someone reading...
...

To sum it up. Got this delivered. Missing screws. Screws loose inside both the microwave/oven.

Go figure. $3400 item and this is what I get. Of course sears is amazing. They exchanged it but unforunatly the next one was worse.

It has some impossible to get off glue on the outside. More screws were rattling inside and this time it was missing ALL the install screws. No baggy to be found anywhere. It did have the thermomter.

It worked fine but I just couldn't help but wonder when it's going to break. Decided to return for refund.

Sears was good but kitchenaid needs some series quality checks at their plants. Honestly this shouldn't happen to any product much less a $3400 purchase.

CAD-man says "I wish I had this years ago!!" about Craftsman Front Tractor Scoop

What a wonderful product!!

I purchaced this item because I needed to relocate 19 tons of crusher-run. I have done this once with a shovel, and I had NO desire to do it again. After researching this item, I had doubts, but I thought I would take a chance.

This item worked VERY WELL. I have already recomended it to several of my friends and neighbors.

Okay... On to the item itself.

Assembly was...fun. I enjoy doing things like this, and I had all the tools and stuff (grease, etc.) on hand, at my finger tips. I have read that the assembly was long and difficult. I found it to be straightforward, logical, and frankly, fun. I think it took about 1-1/2 hours, and I took my time. Everything fit as as it was supposed to.

Something I should mention here. I "modified' the item for use on a different tractor. I used it on an MTD 600 series. I used the 'lawn tractor' brackets supplied with the scoop, re-drilled a few holes, and bolted it on. Not a big deal.

Another thing I have read a lot about was...
...

I purchased this boot in four of the colors offered. I loved the fit, the height of both the boot itself and the heel. But I ended up exchanging two pair and getting two more of the extact same boots. I wore all six pairs (I am counting the four original pairs and the two I returned/replaced) either once or twice and the exact same thing happened with each pair. The little cap that protects the bottom of the heel either loosened or came completely off. After this happened to the second pair, I started to check the cap in the store before or before I wore them. There was no way of knowing this would continue to happen. I am not overweight; nor do I had any type of foot problem that should cause this. All six pairs of boots were returned looking brand new, other than the loose/missing cap. My local shoe repair shop charges $10 a pair to replace those little caps, and I don't mind paying that after I've worn my shoes for a season and the cap is worn...
...

I worried about not having a solid casing around my items, this set is simply constructed yet durable, no problems squeezing the tote under the seat on the plane. Organization was perfect (first for me). I liked not having to carry around a lot of bulk and the baggage claim was just about cleared out before I even realized the second roller was mine, each time it came around I would say "Mine's small but it's a little bigger than that." The wheels worked nice and smoothly instead of screaming across the cement. I definitely waited for the bags to show me that I should have shelled a little more for something fancier but they surprised me at every turn. Now if I could just keep my fiance from claiming them as his own...
...

Steamoof says "Best recomendation from the pros" about Vizio - 32 in. (Diagonal) Class 1080p Eco LCD HD Television

I work retail. I work in a big box retail enviroment. I have asked every sales person I know what TV to get for a PS3 for my office (what I call my man cave). Hands down to my suprise it wasn't Sony, Samsung, or the usual players... Skeptical of the brand name I made the purchase (and yes I can afford the higher ticketed 32 inch TVs) .... and three letters say it all OMG! I am so astounded that I had to write this! Now about the place I purchased it. Yes a few of the pro's I consulted were infact Sears emplyees, but I tell you price, service (evan though the final selling associate was green I mean new and unexperienced) and the overall attitude in the Hyannis MA store were I purchased it at, was great, I think not one associate passed by without asking how my shopping experience was or just as trivial as heck what great weather we are having (50 degrees burr haha). All in All Garenteed price, great staff, and again OMG great product!!! Fallout 3 is sick on this and can...
...

Mcbsmith says "It is good, could be great" about Craftsman 5.5 hp 22 in. 4-Cycle Tecumseh Compact 2-Stage Snowthrower

This Snow-Thrower is a good device. The 22 inch width helps a great deal in keeping the time outside to a minimum. The only hassle is the chute that throws the snow. It is a very awkward adjustment to rapidly make changes while you are moving. In hindsight I should have gotten the 7HP 26inch machine.

It would have given me the distance and the ease of changing the direction of the snow being thrown so that it wasn't so awkward. Wish I would have gotten that one, but this one is more than good enough. Bring a truck to pick it up. It is boxed compactly but still a good size. Also, it was very easy to get working and worked right out of the box. maintenance has been very easy.
...

SteveReaves says "Great!" about Samsung 4.0 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer

I bought this washer dryer combo because of the price in Nov, 2008, due to volume of sales I didn't get it until Jan 2009. Between the time I bought it and got it, my daughter and 3 month old grandson had moved in with us. I never dreamed my new appliances would get the use they have this year. When the deliver men brought it they refused to hook up the washer (long story not product related) so when my husband got home he hooked it up. I had read stories about other front load washers that had a horrible vibration and walked across the floor to the point the customer returned the product. Mine was acting the same way. I knew the no reputable washing machine manufacturer would produce a product that had that kind of personality. We worked for an hour trying to level it and move it to a different spot on the floor, all to no avail. I felt like we had made a huge financial mistake at that point and I sat down and cried. Something told me that I had one last resort before...
...

IFHTP says "Nice oven--got a great deal, never use the self clean function" about Kenmore PRO 30 in. Electric Single Wall Oven

Our "old" Amana stopped working after 6 years. The repairman came out to dignose the problem and found that the control panel had gone bad. $750 to fix, but we found this model for $1100 and jumped on it. It looks very nice, heats up quickly, and we have no complaints so far. I cooked a pork tenderloin using the probe and it was amazingly tender and juicy. I watched while the repairman checked out our old oven and chatted with him. He told me that the week of Thanksgiving is his busiest time of year and that he has the self clean function to thank for that. He also suggested that we never use the self clean because it heats up to incredibly high temperatures and along with burning out all of the cooked on food and gunk, it cooks the electronics. We never did use the self clean and won't use it on this model, so I won't be complaining about it not working.
...
