papa10speed says "This Kenmore Microwave is fast, easy and efficient" about Kenmore TrueCookPlus 1.2 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave Oven (6633)

I purchased this to replace an older model bought about 4 years ago--it gave up the ghost. This model is quite close to the last one. It was easy to set up and the directions in the User Manual are concise, well-written and explain well what does what. I'm a little curious about the "True Cook Plus," though. I've not seen anything in the grocery store, so far at least, that is "True Cook." Anyway, I've yet to use that function. The "Auto Cook" is a good feature for quickly getting certain things done as to time needed. I've used it a couple of times and can say it definitely heats beverages!!! Over all, I'd say this was worth the money paid for it. Unfortunately, I forgot to supply the code to get free shipping so, under those circumstance, I'd say the shipping was too high since it would have been free with the code....

papa10speed says "Quite attractive and highly comfortable (with cushions)." about Home Styles American Nook Set

I ordered this for daughter's kitchen (doing a make-over) because she and her husband liked the idea of a nook. It was quickly shipped and delivered via UPS (only about 5 days or so from order to delivery). All was as described on the web site EXCEPT the site NEGLECTS to tell you that they will send the long bench WITH the nook (the one that isn't attached to the corner bench?) and charge for it (nothing big because I don't expect anything for nothing). HOWEVER, IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY ADDED THAT LITTLE TID BIT OF INFORMATION TO THE DESCRIPTION ON THE SITE (I wound up purchasing a bench that now has to be returned because I don't need two benches and the bench was, as I said earlier, included in the shipment of the nook--with the charge of $131 for it added in without being told).

All that aside, the nook was very attractive and was simple to assemble--total time was about half an hour or so. ONE PROBLEM--the table pedestal came damaged, one of the corners was split off; easily...
...

papa10speed says "Dining Bench Extra" about Home Styles Americana Dining Bench

The bench is nice. However, what the description for the nook, for which this is designed, does NOT include the simple fact that a bench is shipped WITH the nook. So, you get a bench when you order the nook--of course, there is the charge for it which is no biggie (I don't expect anything for nothing). The one that came with the nook was good looking, easy to assemble and came without any blemishes, scars, marks, broken parts, etc. About 10 minutes and it was together and set up with the nook.
...

papa10speed says "Quick 'n' Easy" about Hewlett-Packard All-In-One Thermal Inkjet Photo Printer

Received this 3 days after placing my order at Sears.com. I was surprised at the speed of delivery as a starter. When I started to set it up, I was quite surprised to find NO USB CABLE. I don't recall the description stating the USB cable was not included and would have to be purchased separately. However, I kept the one from my non-functional all-in-one and it was no real problem. Keep that in mind if you order this printer. Other than that, it was quick to set up and install the software. HP.com was a little lenghty in finishing the software download, though, to my way of thinking (about 20 minutes give or take a bit). It works fine as a printer and a copier and scanning is simple. HOWEVER, it gobbles the color ink if you do photographs--so be forewarned it could come to a few bucks if you do a whole lot of photo printing. Regular printing is fine in black and color is also good. However, again, BE FOREWARNED ABOUT HOW MUCH COLOR INK THIS EATS WHEN DOING COLOR PRINTING....
...

papa10speed says "Best Braun I've owned to date!" about Braun Series 5 Shaving System, Clean & Renew, 1 razor

This is, without a doubt, the best Braun shaver I have yet owned. I'm only on my 2nd Braun but have had Norelco and a few others over the years--all quite disappointing. This shaver gives a quick, comfortable and irritation-free shave. It is quiet compared to the older Brauns and fits comfortably in the hand. It is light-weight and compact. In addition, the cleaning/recharging station is twice as quiet as the one for my old Braun. That it can function as a corded and cordless shaver is a giant benefit. I HIGHLY recommend this shaver to anyone who is thinking of moving to an electric shaver.

papa10speed says "Forced to buy but a necessary item" about Kenmore 60 in. Gas Range Connector

Well, it doesn't come with the range and it isn't supplied with teflon tape or joint sealer. But, that aside, it is a necessary item; particularly since the one that was on the range was in really, REALLY bad shape (it leaked and almost caused a damaging fire when disconected). It would have been nice if it was included with the range, but, even in these economic times, Sears has to make an extra buck here and there.
...

papa10speed says "Decent for the price and easy to self-install" about Galaxy 30 in. Gas Manual Clean Freestanding Range

Bought this to replace a really disgusting and damaged range in a rental unit (the renters didn't seem to give a **** about keeping it clean and functioning). It arrived on time and, with the connection hose, was very easy to do a self-install. It is working well and the new renters are quite content with it and how it is working for them.
...
