I like this sharpener. And no, it's not a grinder, and it wasn't designed to be one.The slow speed and fine grit wheel put a really nice sharp edge on things. The tool rests are large enough to accomodate anything up to an axe. The wheel on mine had only the slightest amount of wobble to it, barely noticeable. My only concern about it long-term are the plastic handles on the tool rest adjustments. I hope they don't break off. All in all, it's a solid-feeling tool and I'm glad I got it.

I have had a Fiskars hatchet for a little over a year, it makes the job of chopping kindling so much easier than my other one with a metal handle, I decided to get a second one and retire the metal handled one. Once you try one, you'll never go back!

Fiskars makes great cutting tools and this one is no exception. It feels good in the hand and cuts like butter. And if, like me, you don't enjoy wandering through department stores, the buy-online/pickup-in-store option is great.
