procurementgirl says "modern, slim fitting crew neck" about Lands' End Canvas The Heritage Crewneck Tee

I love t-shirts. They are a wardrobe staple for me and I purchase at least three new tee's every season. I'm also very particular about my tees. They can't be too long or too loose through the torso. Until Lands' End launched their new line, Canvas, my first brand choice for t-shirt purchases was J. Crew.

The Heritage Crewneck Tee from Lands' End Canvas is a great equivalent product at a better price (purchase 3 or more and they're only $12 each!).

I've purchased other products from Lands' End Canvas and really like everything I've purchased (a sweater and the Boyfriend Chino's).

And if that's not enough, since it's Lands' End it's backed by their amazing customer service! I received my first purchase two days after ordering without paying additional for shipping. I also received a personalized hand written thank you note a few weeks after my purchase! That combined with the great quality products will keep my coming back for more! Can't wait for the full Canvas line...
...

procurementgirl says "Comfortable, casual fit at a great price!" about Route 66 Women's Long Sleeve V-Neck Fine Gauge Stripe Sweater

As an employee of Sears Holdings I've seen great improvements in our Kmart private label clothing design over the past year. This is my first apparel purchase from Kmart in a long while. My preference for clothes typically has me making purchases at stores like Gap, J. Crew and (fellow employees, please don't hurt me) ******. I'd never describe myself as a fashionista. I'm much more comfortable in casual basics. This sweater fits the bill! Reguarly priced at $24.99 it's a steal. It's comfortable, fits well, and I really like the fact that the hem is more like a t-shirt - not banded and fitted. If you're fond of sweaters from the Mossimo or Converse lines at ******, I think you'll like this!

Kudos to the Kmart Design team!
...

procurementgirl says "Nike+ Sensor is a great way to track your workout miles" about Nike Nike+ Sensor

Let me first say that I've been using the RunKeeper app and have been quite happy with its output until I got the 3Gs. For some reasong the GPS output seems to be worse and so while I miss having my run mapped out for me with detailed pace information linked to the map for any given minute, I thought I'd see what all the Nike+ Sensor fuss was about.

It took a bit of searching, but I finally figured out the following:

1. Nike sells Nike+ shoes that the sensor fits into, but you don't have to buy these in order to use the sensor. Nor are you obligated to purchase the Nike+ Shoe Wallet.

    - See blog "10 Different Ways to Attach a Nike+ Sensor to Your Shoe" for some free DIY options http://bit.ly/XofHw (Note: I actually use the USB Shuttle purchased at Office Max)

2. You are also no longer obligated to own an iPod Nano to use the Nike+ Sensor

     - Nike now sells the Nike+ Sports Band (http://bit.ly/2425q - this kit includes the Nike+ Sensor). If you run without music this is a...
...

procurementgirl says "A commuters salvation!" about Audio Books Opinion

I have long been a road warrior and so have been listening to audiobooks for years. Cracker Barrel was my introduction to this medium of "reading". They still have a great deal on their audio books. You pay full price for the "book", but you can bring them back and get a refund less the weekly charge. It used to be $3/week, but it's been it's been a few years since I was last there so it could be more.

These days I download audiobooks from iTunes. The drawback of downloads from this source (or from eMusic, Audible.com, etc.) is you pay full price for a book you most likely will just delete later or keep on your computer's hard drive for eternity. Same problem if you purchase from a book store.

Believe it or not, the Chicago Public Library now offers downloadable audiobooks to checkout, which is a much better option than iTunes...except their downloads are not compatible with iPods. Figures, right?

Regardless of how I've obtained my audiobooks over the years, they are definately...
...
