Watch out! I have been a customer / card holder for 10 years. We booked a flight to Vagas on this card and rooms a week or so in advance. The day we arrived in Las Vegas Nevada 2000 miles form home american express closed or credit lines for a financial review and asked us to provide financial, proof opf income etc after the fact, the balances have always been paid n full, of course we had plenty of cash and our trusty master card visa. It seems that would be the one I leave home with out form now on. ...

Had to purchase bunk beds for my sons who were outgrowing their bedroom. Went to the furniture store, picked them out, had them brought to the loading dock to load into my truck only to find out that the store did not accept American Express. This all took about an hour. Ended up having to put them on an installment plan because we really needed them and the store had worked hard to get us what we really wanted. Very EMBARRASSING!!!! People were waiting in line behind us and we basically had to start the process over. Ended up being there over 2 hours!!...

AmEx has never failed me. They backed me up many times in disputes. I love the card. Been a member for 28 years and loved every minute of it.

This card is great if you like to pay your balance in full each month. It forces you to pay it off each month. Having this card also allows you to get tickets and hotel rooms at lower rates. It also has a great rewards program. Whenever I have had an issue, customer service has been amazing. I love it....
