"Barbie As Rapunzel" is Barbies second CG film that went straight-to-DVD. The visuals of the CG have improved over the last outing. This is the classic fairy tale story of Rapunzel taken to a whole new level. Kelly Sheridan reprises her role as the voice of Barbie and the songs are even better this time around. Don't let the name "Barbie" keep you from enjoying this film. This film is for all ages and appeals to a broad range. Topically any child should be able to enjoy this film. Adults and older teens can discern much more meaning and pick up on hints of much deeper things in this film. Yes, the movie is full of wonderful CG scenery, characters, songs, and romance. But it also has fierce dragons, an evil witch whose powers should remind you of the "Force" in Star Wars. Everything she does is like that of a Sith Lord. The armored knights are very impressive looking in this film. Action and humor keep you tuned in from the beginning to the end.
