NOHUHU says "EXTRA REACH AND PERFECT BALANCE" about Black & Decker 24 in. Hedge Hog Hedge Trimmer

This is a great tool The extra 2-4" will make a huge difference when you are trying to reach the back side of that hedge or hanging from a ladder and topping a tall bush.

It feels faster, easier and safer all around, even if you are only doing small jobs.

But the best feature of this trimmer is it's perfect balance - at any angle.

The reason is the new design with extended trigger grip that puts the center of balance where it belongs (in the middle grip).

Hold it in one hand and compare it with any other model, you will feel it right away. It's far easier to control and feels lighter than models weighing less. That extended trigger grip also adds another 4" or so to your overall reach, making it work more like a 28" trimmer.

The noise of high speed trimmer is still there - but not the vibration.

Weaknesses? None really. It may not cut thick material as cleanly as a 4 amp model, but still performs great. The center grip does not adjust angle - it does not need to. The polarized plug......

I have an older Hedge Hog that was great on my Honey Suckle that climbs along my fence 150 + feet. But after many uses and my lack of observation I tryed to cut through a piece of rebar and broke trhe blade. This new Hedge Hog lasted one day before the gears started slipping. I took it back and had it replaced. This one lasted a while longer as I used it very gingerly but today it started slipping again. I have used it 3 times before today. I guess I have to go back to the older style blade like my older Hedge Hog has. I need the 3/4 inch cutting for the honey suckle. I guess newer isn't always better....

Very pleased with this trimmer as I needed the extra length for my hedges. Very light weight, easy to handle and very mobile. I really like the comfortable handle which makes it very easy to hold. Had craftsman before, but found this Black and Decker to meet all standards needed....

I replaced my 13 year old Little Wonder trimmer with this one. The Black and Decker is lighter and better balanced. The extended reach handle is great! It allows me to cut the top of my hedge from one side only now. I like the balance of the trimmer. One of the reasons I suspect it is lighter than the older Little Wonder is that the blade thickness on the B&D is about half that of the Little Wonder. So I will be interested to see how the blades hold up. Used the product once so far this year to cut 100 feet of hedge. Can't rate reliability yet....
