I recommend this car seat to all new parents. It is pricey, but what is your child's safety worth? I love the cow print and for girls, there are several really pretty floral prints. All 3 of my kids are in Britax - thankfully, I have a minivan because these do take up a bit of space. These car seats are easy to install and easy to adjust.

I bought my son the britax marathon shortly before he turned 1yrs old. I did a lot of research and everything i read suggested britax. The AAP is now suggesting to keep kids riding rearfaced to at least 2yrs and 30lbs. The britax marathon allows me to keep my son rearfaced until 35lbs. My son is now almost 2yrs old and still happily riding rearfaced in the marathon. When used forward facing its good until 65lbs, so it keeps kids in a 5pt harness longer then other carseats do. The marathon is a big carseat but it easily fits in our small honda. We have installed it using the latch system and it is so easy it takes less then 5mins to get installed and its just about impossible to install it incorrectly. It is easy to adjust the straps and its easy to get kids in and out of. I have no complaints with my britax marathon and i am happy my son will be able to use it for the next few years....

When my 2 month old out grew his infant car seat, I had a hard time looking for a car seat that he was confortable in. He was only 2 months and the car seats seem that they were made for toddlers only, so I saw the cow print car seat and decided to try it. When I found out that it was one of the best car seats out there, I baught it. My son loves it and if he is happy, I am happy....

I was in a roll-over accident where my Jeep rolled twice after a 180 turn on slippery pavement. My 11 month old son didn't have a scratch and was tightly fastened in the seat, and the seat was still fastened to the backseat after the accident. I'm purchasing another one today....

We have two of these seats for our twins. They are very sturdy and lock down securely into vehicle. We feel very safe having our babies ride in these. They seem very comfortable also! No screaming and fighting to get them into the car. I like the velcro to keep straps out of seat while you are putting them in. And the fabric is adorable!...

This is the best car seat we have ever had. This is our third child & this is the first time we have ever bought a britax carseat-we would never buy anything else now that we have the britax marathon. The pattern is so cute & fun! The marathon is so easy to use & one of the best features is the latch system-it gets the carseat sooo... tight without having to fool around with the seatbelt. It will last us a long time as the weight limit is 5lbs.- 65 lbs. Don't think twice about this carseat-you will love it!!!...

There are some things that I have cut corners on - some used play structures, inexpensive strollers, etc. However, I will not cut corners on my child's car seat. Britax makes some of the best and the safest seats out there. We've had the Marathon Cowmooflage seat for almost a year (and also one Roundabout for our second, smaller car and for airline flights). It's safe, durable, looks great, and will be used for years! You probably need a bigger car for the Marathon (SUV, Minivan), but my son is very comfortable in it and happy for trips that usually take over 30 minutes each way....

This is a wonderful carseat. It seems like an expensive car seat, but it is really an excellent value. There are VERY few seats out there that use a five point harness system for children over 40 pound and this one gives you an additional 25 pounds to keep your kids safer for even longer. My three year old son is very tall and has been over forty pounds since before his third birthday and this seat keeps him in his seat without any worry of being in a booster that allows him to move around and wiggle! We love this seat and all the Britax seats. My seven year old daughter is still in a Britax five point harness seat, too. Thank goodness there is a company that cares to keep older kids safe, too!...

We received this carseat as a baby shower gift and just love it. We started using it as soon as our son grew out of his infant carrier at only 5 months. It's super adjustable, and the latch system works great and is really easy to get the seat in and out when we need to switch cars. This seat is well worth the price and can be used until baby reaches 65 lbs....

This is the best purchase I have ever made for my daughter. When I checked all of the safety reviews on Britax, they were extremely high. That is the reason I bought the carseat. Now that I have used it for 2 years, I can say it was a great investment. My daughter eats in the car often and the cover is very high quality. Even after numerous washes, the seat looks new. The only thing I would like to see is a cupholder on the side....

I did a lot of research online and through friends before I purchased this car seat and it was definitely worth the investment. It is more expensive than many others, but the quality is excellent and it will last you a long time since it's both forward and rear-facing. Highly recommended!...

We love this car seat. It is very easy to install in the car. Does not budge when installed. Nice soft fabric. Cool design- all my friends love it too! Baby seems very comfy in it. I like that the straps velcro out of the way so it is easier to put baby in the seat without having to fight with digging the straps out from behind baby or untwisting them, etc. The recline feature is real nice too for when baby falls asleep. I remember with my 1st child his seat did not have recline and his head was always falling forward- he looked so uncomfortable...The only thing I see with this car seat is that the material it is made of can sometimes get a bit sweaty for baby- perhaps it is more suited for colder weather states? All in all though we love the seat and would recommend to anyone....
