We have traveled with 3 other cruise lines and Carnival really stands out, there is so much to do for ages. It can be romantic, entertaining for my mom & dad, my daughters first cruise was her 6th birthday. She is now 26 and has been with me many many times. As have friends and my parents. The staff treats you like kings and queens and the level of energy is non stop - but not overbearing. The food has been incredible.. The accomodations very comfortable - the beds are terrific! I am traveling again with my mom early September and then again with my mom and friends in November. My daughter is traveling as maid of honor with her fiance, in Sept. as well, with friends that are marrying on board - they can't wait! I have another booking next September going for the Suite this time, if it's been this fabulous in Oceanview, the Suite will be even more awesome!...

Carnival Cruise Lines - Conquest Western Caribbean is by far one of the best cruises we have ever been on. Despite the things that cost extra there was plenty to do that was free for those on a budget. The food was available 24 hrs and many choices. The docking times were enough time to sight see or just relax at the beach. The nighttime entertainment was excellent, we even met several couples and joined up on activities. There were shows, karaoke, dancing, games, and even a fancy dress up night for pictures. We got a balcony room at a very affordable rate, in which you can pay half up front and the remaining half a month before boarding, so there is plenty of time to save up. Only thing that could have ruined this trip was a hurricane. Even the 2-3 hour wait to board and exit the ship was not bad as we were filed with excitement and had so much to talk about, the time flew by. We would love to go every year, but work gets in the way!!!...

This was the 5th cruise for us. Throughout the years we have seen service on Carnival decline. Staff not as pleasant, like the would rather be anywhere else than there. Entertainment not the caliber it use to be. This was the first time we had a balcony and we did love that!!!!! We have chosen carnival the last three cruises because we live close to the port and can drive. Will we go back? Not anytime soon, we find Cancun and Riviera Maya with an all inclusive resort a better value....
