I bought this vacuum to replace a Shop Vac I've owned for nearly 20 years. I had bought a used mini van for a great price but it was a little dirty inside. I decided it was time to break down and buy a new vacuum.

I went to clean the stained carpet in this fairly new van and the vacuum sucked so hard I could barely move the tool on the carpet. Eventually I selected to correct tool for the job which worked like a charm. I like how it sucked all the water out of the carpet as it dried very fast even though it was raining outside.

I read some reviews before I bought this particular vacuum and I have to say that I don't see any problems with it. I have used it several times (although I have not used the blower yet) and I like how it's 'squatty' so it's not too easy to tip over even if you're pulling it over a cord or something that would make my old vacuum tip (and then you know what happens, the ball goes up into the vacuum and so you have to shut it down and wait for the ball to drop, and...

I'm also one of those people who think all homes need this shop vac. I have a very old, fat cat who loves to scratch her litter out of her litter box. That vac cleaned up her shedding hair and the litter so fast and was easy to use I will never be without one. Looking forward to cleaning out the car also. It was easy to assemble. The only problem was the extra air-filter was damaged when I opened the box. Returned it and had no trouble receiving a new one, at no charge. Thanks for a really good product....

I've had this vac for 1 month now, and it's a work hog! I use it to clean my car regularly. We had water in our basement, and used this, and it was gone in less than 60 seconds. Truly amazing. It has a bottom valve for purging the tank. I paid $99.99. At $79.99, it is a steal!...
