This is a GREAT attachment, once you get use to the balancing of it. Just be careful and stand at an angle when cutting so branches so you don't crack your scull. This cut branches like butter, very impressive for a battery operated tool. The only draw back sorry to say is with the tools handle, very poor trigger design, pistol or one trigger would have been way more comfortable. But overall the most powerful battery operated weed whip/ pole saw/ etc Sears has. Just improve the handle!!! woman friendly!

It's so hard to put faith in some cordless items, But I found this one to be a great add to anyone who has a chain saw but wants to safely cut smaller branches. I have used this saw for all of it's purposes and I'm very happy with it. This saw keeps me safe on the gound or on a ladder or roof.

You can do a good range of gound to high area cuts and it's power will suprise even picky buyers.

Purchased power handle and saw and charged battery for over an hour. Tested unit and the chain turned. Took the entire unit into yard about 4 hours later, oiled chain, pulled trigger and nothing worked. Removed battery and put in charger for two hours and could never get green light to come on. Exchanged power handle today, charged battery and unit worked approx 10 seconds and battery was totally dead. Charged battery again tonight for over 4 hours, put it in handle, and am getting nothing except battery is dead again. Everything goes back tomorrow for refund. I will purchase a unit with extension cord. No more battery units for this consumer....

I Bought the Line Trimmer then I bought the Pole saw because once again I ,am tiered of Dragging around Cords and messing with gas. I used the Pole saw on two old Ctton Wood trees and with one battery cut off 4 branches ranging from 5 inch to 8 inch in diameter and all about 15 feet in lengeth. I found that this tool was very easy to use and had no problems cutting thuogh the branches at all. I would recommend this to any one needing to cut down dead branches in there trees....
