Ecxellent portability. Very versatile. Handy even where you have larger compressors but dont wantor need to fire up the big one. All in All great for DIY ers as well as pro's...

just the yellow air rubber line is not so durable it turn cracked in pieces hard maybe for the hot days or the sun

I have 2 of these, the first one fell of the back of my pick-up while my son was driving. It still works but the gauges are messed up.

I would recomend this to anyone who does finish work.

Bought this for around the garage work. Among the small "oiled" compressors sold by Sears this may be the standout for the price, accessory set, and SCFM ratings at both 40 and 90 psi. Sad to see that Sars is phasing this out (online page/ad says "while quantities last.....")...

This is a great compressor for around $100. I bought it instead of buying a large tank model because I wanted the ability to take it around to projects easily. I like it because it is oil lube. I had a pancake compressor a few years ago and it died after a year's worth of use. It takes very little to get it going out of the boxbasically put oil in it and away you go. It is light weight, but has good feet on it so it doesn't walk around the floor from vibration. It is quieter than my old compressor and it builds up to pressure fast. I use it for everything from bike tires to a large stud nailer. I am going to try it with an air sander pretty soon. I think it will do fine on small stuff. I would recommend this product....

I own a 60 gallon compress but was tired of having to fill an air tank or run 100+ feet of hose if I needed to do something away from my shop. This portable compressor fits the bill. I recently installed molding in my kitchen and den. During this project, I used BOTH a finish nailer and crown stapler . The compressor operated both with no problem. I was also impressed with the recovery time once it kicked on. Overall, I am very pleased with this product....

As a ceramic artist I needed a compressor for both glazing of larger pieces and airbrush detail work. This compressor is easy, compact, has a great auto shut-off once pressure is achieved and is not nearly as noisy as others I've seen. Plus= Sears got it to me right away. I am happy, yes I am....

Bought this about 2 or 3 years ago. Used it once for a small project. it then sat in my garage with little to no wear. went to use it this past weekend and the engine quit. Oil looks clean and plenty of it. now i'm stuck with this thing and it isn't covered under warrenty....

I have used this compressor for six months three days a week in a commercial application. I install doors and windows part time. I followed the breakin instructions and had no problems with it. I like the two quick connects, for I use two nail guns at the same time one is 15gauge and the other 18gauge. Recently I used it with outside temperatures around 5 below zero not a problem at all, however I did have to use ethylene glycol in my nail guns instead of oil. I like the cast iron cylinder head and the fact it is oil lubricated. Great job Sears. I highly recommend this compressor for all nail gun applications ... Did I mention works great with a framing nailer also....

needed a small , light compressor to inflate tires balls etc. This product is noisier than I thought it would be, but works flawlessly. light, small , portable. fills resonably fast. and inexpensive. Don't lose the teflon tape, you'll need it to seal the connections as the included kit is hard to make airtight....

This is a well build machine with excellent guaging and controls; I use it primarily for tire inflation, but it is capable of supplying adequate air compression for air power tools. I haven't had it very long, but my experience with prior compressors tells me that it will serve my needs for many years to come. The only reason I do not award it a five star rating is because there is not a convenient on-off electrical power switch to switch the electric power on and off when not in use....

Hello, Waited a year and some major projects before reviewing to be accurate. Projects used for: Crown molding in two large rooms (dining, game); baseboard trim in three large rooms (dining, kitchen, game); framed out/trimmed out hole between kitchen/dining room (had split with full wall, opened up to hole with recessed lighting/countertop); stair treads replacement; doorway edge guards; wood brick holder for pull-behind lawn aerator; picture frames; mini Zen Garden project. Feelings about product: These guns are LIGHT, which is terrific for working in corners or long lengths of time. These guns are POWERFUL--I have yet to have a brad, staple, or nail not driven in far enough. In fact, most times I don't need to fill in the holes. SIMPLE to load, connect, maintain, etc. means they are always ready to go. Comparisons: My father has a Bostitch ('there's only one brand for air tools' he said) that died twice in the times we were using both. My brother has a DeWalt--works fine, but is real......

It does everything I wanted (& surprisingly really fast building pressure). The only reason I didn't give it top rating was (add $5 to the cost & toss some extras in) another air hose (being it has TWO outlets) and fittings would've been nice. A trip to a hardware store and I now have an air nozzle for blowing debris plus another hose set up for tires w/o having to switch fittings....

If you want a compact compressor for tires, balls, and blowing off things that you can easily carry around, this compressor will serve you well. I park my lawn tractor in a shed that doesn't have electricity yet. If I need to put air in the tractor tires, I can fill the tank in the garage and carry it out to the tractor. It takes little space in my garage and IF wanted that floor space, at 26 lbs, I could hang it from a hook. I bought it during an online sale in July of 2008 for $99. Two weeks after I got it, during normal use, the plastic hose developed a leak. I took the accessory kit to the Sears Store nearest me and they replaced the 17 piece kit with a 20 piece kit! If this hose develops I leak, I will replace it with a rubber one. But, the connectors are a fine quality and the blower attachment is adequate, so it was still nice to get the accessory kit. Still because the hose and the air gauge are low quality, I have to give the overall package a 4. I would give the compressor alone......

Purchased this for $105 and it was money well spent. Did an excellent job of blowing out cob webs and spider webs from my gas log set prior to lighting for the first time this year. Service man normally charges me $50 for a house call to perform this maintenance every year, so I got half of my purchase price back right away. The only complaint, is the accessory kit that comes with it. The air hose would serve me better if it was 50 Ft. instead of 25 ft. Also, I could not get any air in my auto tires using the enclosed air chuck. I will invest in a longer air hose and a better air chuck and this should increase my overall satisfaction of this product to a perfect 10!...
