I purchased this set for my husband and was positive that he wouldn't like it! He is very big on purchasing high end priced tools. However I was pleasantly surprised when he approved of the set. He says the jack is bigger than he expected and is fairly heavy duty! Can't say much for the creeper or stands since he hasn't used either one. But the creeper is a good size and has 4 wheels on each side!...

It is a great jack for being a Craftsman, (which the name isn't 1 of the greats anymore) My wife percached this for me for christmas and I use it about once a week.. I work on all the neighbors cars and trucks around here... I used to work for sears awhile back and I could tell ya what products to buy and which ones not too... and well this is 1 I would buy!

The jack stands and the creeper work just expected, although the creeper is a cheaper as I like to say, but works ok. However, the jack was another story until I figued out what was wrong. When the jack was painted too much paint went on the gears that the handel work to either open or close the cylinder. It took two men, one to hold the jack and the other turning the handel to work enough paint off of the gears to get them to turn. I also placed oil on these gears as the paint was wearing/chipping off. Now it works at is should...just beware in case this happens to you.

Got it out of the box and the jack didn't work. The gears that connect the handle to the release mechanism were made incorrectly and didn't line up. They jammed when you tried to use the jack, rendering it useless.

The creeper and jackstands are okay - "Made-In-China" typical quality, NOT what I expected from Craftsman but functional for the time being.

The store exchanged the complete set so I could get a new jack. So far, everything is working okay.

You get what you pay for, folks. Don't expect to pay under $200 for a jack, jackstands, and creeper and get something that will last a lifetime. This stuff is okay but not good or great. Made-In-China is ruining the Craftsman (and Sears) name.

Totally Happy, and Satisfied. My vehicle is a little heavier then most, but this was the perfect combination and price for what I was needing. Also the regular 2 ton jacks out there do not have the clearance/height I wanted. This jack definately did.

I don't normally write reviews, so I'll keep this short and to the point. This is a great package deal. It's a great value to get the creeper and the jack stands and the jack (especially in 3 ton). Everything looks great and strong, but out of the box, the jack is junk. I have been craftsman my whole life, but this was a disappointment. The jack handle can easily slip off of the gear making you twist the handle to re-insert the handle to fit the gear. After you get it to stick, the jack sticks at the point just before it releases its pressure, releasing the vehicle incredibly fast. That's not safe whether you're trying to set it down on jack stands, or are trying to bring it back to the ground with tires on.

I made a mistake and didn't read the other reviews on here before purchasing it because it was a great day after thanksgiving deal. Please read this and take into consideration the poor quality and non-safe use of this non-American made product.

This set is great to get you all the lifting/safety equipment you need to do basic maintenance on your car. The jack works well, and pumps quickly, the jack stands are sturdy, and can hold the car high enough to work under it. The creeper works well with eight wheels, especially if your garage floor has groves in it, one wheel hitting a groove does not lock you into place. The only downside is that it is too tall to fit under several cars. (this includes my lowered sports car, and my wives New Beetle) trucks/suv's would not be a concern, but some cars may be. You can always drive up onto a 2X4 but that adds extra work. For the price this set is hard to beat....

Bought this set since it came from SEARS.. used it 4 times over a period of 1.5 yrs.. Then it began leaking and now wont safely lift anything... So if you decide to buy this remember your paying the price for 2 stands and a creeper.....

I bought the Jack Combo on sale for $99. I've used the jack and the creeper once so far, and I'm happy with it.

as for the jack:

- it seems solid - wheels seem solid - doesn't raise exceptionally fast - lowers smoothly

creeper:

- questionable, I wish it was one solid piece. hopefully a friend will be able to weld the two pieces of frame together before it possibly breaks. other than that the rest seems ok.

overall a decent deal at $99. I was a little worried when I saw the box, since it was pretty beat up. jack and jackstands were fairly scuffed up and missing paint before their first use, but everything worked so it stayed in the garage.

the release is touchy, ive dropped 3-4 customer cars way too fast. takes forever to lift a car, tried adding jack oil, no use. would be ok for home use but not in a professional environment. i will be returning since i do like craftsman and upgrading t oa bigger jack. jack stands and creeper are ok....

I bought this set as an affordable way to work on my 1979 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup. Not only was this useful for lifting the truck to change tires, but it also came in handy as a make-shift fuel tank lift when I had to remove both fuel tanks. This jack even though it may weigh a bit is rugged and durable.

I recommend this not only for the person with a shop, but also the guy working on his projects out in a paved driveway. If someone was to ask me if I'd change anything in this jack, or any of the other items in this set i would have to say no.

When I was about to buy this product, it seemed to be at a very nice price 116.99 before tax. However, when I checked out this product, it rised up to 143.99 and was before tax still. Lucky that I looked at the price again before I filled in my bank card number.

I looked around for a combination jack and stands and thought this was a great price, but buyer beware. It's been awhile since buying a craftsman tool and this is no craftsman tool. Jack is too slow in lifting and the creeper is terrible. My opinion is that craftsman has now allowed shotty work and I will be reevaluating any future purchases. The only good thing was the jack stands, but those would be hard to make useless.
