I am an ASE Certified auto tech that uses Craftsman almost exclusively and I don't like these.

They require to much movement to grab the next gear when trying to ratchet so they aren't good in tight spots.

These Craftsman offset ratchet wrenches work okay. The don't have the fine gear count of other ratcheting wrenches so they need to swing more before catching the next gear click. But these wrenches due have a nice offset that allows them to go where standard ratcheting wrenches can't.

These offset ratcheting Metric wrenches are very practical and useful all around the shop and yard. I really enjoy working with the angled design. It helps to keep fingers from pinch points and provides a wider arc of swing when in tight spaces. The simple reverse click pins are easy to actuate with the thumb or index fingers and provide quick reversals of movement.

Although the ratcheting mechanism is exposed to the elements, I find it to be strong and easy to provide maintenance. These don't appear to give you high torquing ability, but I've performed auto, tractor, and small engine maintenance\repairs with ease, busting loose stubborn nuts and bolts without busting my knuckles!

The fit and finish is great and easy to keep clean. In all, I've been very pleased with the features and solid performance of this offset ratchet wrench set!

These wrench sets have to be one of the best values in the Sears tool department. They cover a wide variety of common metric fasteners. The offset wrench helps to keep your hand a safe distance from the object where the fastener is located.

Trying to get a socket onto a long bolt in a tight spot on my car was getting pretty frustrating. I bought the 5 pc Offset Racheting Box End Wrench set as a last resort. It did the trick, getting into the tight spot, over the long bolt and onto the stubborn nut. Although the strokes were really short due to no room, the clicks added up and I eventually got both mounting bracket bolts off and was able to proceed with the repair after dropping the blocking part. Having the right tool for the job IS half the battle....

Other than lacking a 17mm size, which is one of the MOST COMMON SIZES used, the wrenches are a great deal. Quality wrenches with an unlimited lifetime warranty from Craftsman....

This set is the counterpart of the similar inch-size set. By limiting the number of tools in the set to the same number of tools as the inch size set in order to have the same price point, Sears made a minor mistake that is costly for the tool user to correct. Sizes 11, 16, 17 and 18mm are not to be found. While 16 & 18 are uncommon, they are not that uncommon. One has to add either the Craftsman 11 x 16mm (an awkward tool, owing to the large difference between the ends) or get 11 x 12mm, 16 x 18mm & 15 x 17mm (duplicating some sizes) from another maker. In 2006, you would find these additions costing about $50. While the tools themselves are every bit as good as one should expect from Craftsman, the selection of sizes should be reviewed to see if it will handle all the fasteners you might encounter....
