<p>I have had this for about a year now and I use it all the time for cleaning out the car, garage and basement. It's the perfect size for toting around and 6 gallons is plenty big enough for regular household use. It's very powerful and has plenty of suction. I haven't needed to use it as a blower since I have a craftsman leaf blower already. It would be nice if they came with more attachments. But the price was still very reasonable.</p>...

<p>I like it because it has power, the filter is easy to remove and replace. It is light easy to lift and carry. Bring several pieces, but you can add and replace, such as the brush to clean the floor. Its price is moderate and affordable for any budget. It is durable, mine is almost 8 years and has not lost strength.</p>

we are doing some work in are basement, puting up drywall. i needed something that would clean up without making alot of dust.

i bought another shop vac at walmart about the same price, smaller motor and tank. it didn't do the job, the hose was smaller and would get clogged. so i took it back. i didn't expect to find another one with more power, a bigger tank and a bigger hose for the same amount of money that i spent at walmart. so when i saw this one in a recent KMART ad i decided to give it a try. boy am i glad i do and it's a CRAFTSMAN!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! it works great! lots of power, great cleaning, and the hose is bigger so it doesn't clog. i even used it on my kitchen and hardwood floors. and it did a great job!

if you are looking for a vac to cleanup those heavy messes that you can't sweep with your broom or are to dusty. get one of these you won't be sorry!!! i love mine and i'm very happy to have found it . besides it's a CRAFTSMAN what else could you want you know it's got......

I LIKE THE FEATURE THAT LETS YOU BLOW WITH IT. ONLY USED IT ONCE SO FAR BUT I AM VERY PLEASED. I ORDERED IT ON LINE IN THE MORNING AND GOT AN EMAIL THE SAME DAY TO PICK IT UP AT THE STORE. GOOD SERVICE SEARS. GOOD PRICE TOO. DID NOT COME WITH CAR, CREVICE AND FLOOR NOZZLE BUT SEARS HAVE THEM PRICED RIGHT IF YOU WANT THEM....

Works very well for woodworking clean up and fireplace ash. Only suggestion is something to catch nails/screws that if catch together in the coorogated tubing block the suction and require being manipulated out the way they came. Other than that... works well....

Just purchased and realized there was one accessory missing. The crevice tool. Find it hard to believe that you can sell a wet/vac without a crevice tool. I can do without the others, but this one I can not. So, if you want this vac &amp; need this tool, add $7.99 to the price of the wet/vac. Otherwise, seems to be a quality product. Good suction, quiet, not to bulky and should meet/exceed the needs of most people....

This is a great vacuum cleaner, sucks up everything, wheels roll easily, has a good long cord on it. The thing i like the most is how quiet it is, The thing I like the least is the lack of accessories. Do not worry though, it came with a 20% odd coupon for tips and accessories in the box. Great for home and auto, highly recommended....

Have had it for a year now with no problems. Strong enough for handy man-ing around the house. Picks up dust, nails, loose dirt, concrete bits, etc. with no problem. The stock filter is quite good for dust and cleans off by just banging it inside the trash can. Hose is big enough without being unwieldy. Great size for toting around the house.
Had a similar Shop Vac burn out on me. Plus the Shop Vac filter was a worthless open cell foam that let all the dust go through.

It lacks a good way of storing the cord on the unit. It would also be nice to be able to redirect or diffuse the exhaust.

Definitely a good buy....

I've had this unit a couple of years. Almost immediately after purchasing it the wheels started falling off. If it tilted in any way while moving it around my shop or my vehicles a wheel would inevitably fall off. Everything stopped while I put the wheel(s) back on. Well, now I've lost one and just realized that to get a new wheel and filter (which is time for replacing) I could darn near just by a new one. Which I will probably do, excepted it won't be another Craftsman. I was so disapointed/aggravated in this one design flaw. It was certainly not up to the quality that I had come to expect from Craftsman....

If all you need to vacuum is sawdust and general cleaning, then it's alright. If your sawdust has nails or heavy chips of wood you will have to empty the hose periodically because it does'nt have enough suction to get it to the container. I used it with a smaller diameter hose and it did substantially better....

So far, so good. I'm pleased with the power and the price but I haven't used it for wet suction as yet....

I got this wet/dry van on sale for $35. I have starting doing some small woodworking projects and building in my basement. I always would dread the clean up because first I had to push broom my work area THEN use my dad's 100 year old (a little bit of an exageration) shop-vac to clean it up. It simply does not have the power to clean up the saw dust. The old Shop-Vac well served its time, sucked up hundreds of gallons of water, and lasted many years but it is simply getting worn out. What really drew me to this modle besides price, was the 2 1/2" hose... I really wanted something a little bigger than what I could find on Shop-Vacs. I have a rough basement floor in spots and I bought the bristle/broom attatchment to go with - works wonderfully. No more sweeping the floor just to then go over it with the vacume. Easily worth the money!!...

I've owned this vacuum for about 4 years. I used it sparingly over the years and I always used the high filtration bags. Regardless, the motor does not use bearings, but cheap bushings that wore out (telltale sign was the motor became very noisy and the rpm dropped). The bushings cannot be individually replaced, and the replacement cost of the motor costs more than the vacuum itself.

I also own a 10+ year old Shop-Vac that still works great, but it's too small. I'm going to try a Shop-Vac next time around. I'm sadly disappointed in the quality/durability of this Craftsman shop vacuum along with other Craftsman tools that I own....

Before you knew it, the car was clean. After we got back, I decided to just suck out the (cold) ashes from my fireplace. Cleaned out the fireplace way faster than usual! This vac is sufficient for most household duties, and the price cannot be beat!...

I like the way it performs. It has good vacuuming power.
With it's large caster fenders for implement storage, it is a little bulky moving around my somewhat small workshop. The tubes and hose seem a little large and the crevice tool would work better a little smaller. However, it does do the work that I need it to do. I don't believe you can beat it for the money....
