This set is great. The carrying case is about 6" x 4" x 2" and is perfect for a tool belt or a bucket. It has a ton of common bits, including torx, single drive, and other common bits. Definitely good for the money.

There are so many bits that enabled my Hubby to work on some projects I had lined up for him!

There are bits for just about any application you could imagine! Thye fit in a variety of screw guns he has ,

Im a diesel machanic and i work on all types of jobs, from big to little this set make it all happen. I do alot of work on the interior of the semi's and having this set make working on the these trucks simple and fast!!!! I grab two tools, Craftsmans 83 pc bit set and my compact cordless screwdriver is all i need to get the job done. Have a great assortment of bits from torx, square heads, philips, to flat makes chooseing the right bit easy and fast. I highly recommend this set for and type of job. A must have for any mechanic or at home handymen, will be purchasing one more for my personal use around the house. The item comes with a 90 warranty but thats ok because yes, these bits will break when not properly used or miss used but if used right they will get the job done!

This Craftsman Bit Set is awesome. I work in an arcade and fix arcade games everyday. This sit has everything I need to get the job done. I would recomend this to anyone that works on electronics.

It could use an extra set of tamper proff tork bits. There is only one set.

My Dad got this about a week ago, I found it for him and bought it. he loves it. So far he used it for fixing the screen door, repairing some electronics, putting in sheet rock. you just cant go wrong on owning this small package! Thanks Craftsman for another great product!

This is one of my MOST used Craftsman products that I own!

I do agree with the other reviewers in that the packaging is a little misleading. While it is in fact an 83 piece set, only 51 of the bits are unique. The rest are all duplicates of other bits in the sets. In my mind this is NOT a con at all, it is actually a pro. The duplicate bits are all of the most commonly used pieces in the set. This probably isn't the best option for an industry professional who might need a vast collection of bits, but for the everyday do-it-yourselfer this set is GREAT. Any bit the average user (including myself) should ever need is included. Plus, everything is contained inside of the handy red locking Craftsman storage case. Having the storage case is an EXCELLENT feature because there are so many bits and they are so small they can easily get lost. With the case, every bit has a place to snap into so they also dont fall out. Even better is that the plastic case has the name of each...

I have several of these sets in different locations and they are very good bits. The one thing I would like to have seen was something like a knurled finger driver included so a person wouldn't have to use a drill or magnetic driver. I cut a spot in the case and put a finger driver in and now it is more complete. I removed some of the duplicates and put in metric bits and magnetic nut drivers....

Even though I have had this set for a while, today was the first time I actually used it. I employed a P2 bit extensively for not one, but two applications and you would not know it by looking at it. Virtually no wear at all. Between the variety of general purpose bits, nut drivers and security bits, this is a MUST HAVE item...

As said in the previous review, the product is slightly misleading. Though it is labeled as an 83-pc set there are actually only 52 DIFFERENT bits. However, since I bought this to append a couple other craftsman bit sets I managed to swap out certain bits in the kit for their matching security bits making it even more useful. For example, since there are 2 of every hex bit (3 in the case of 5/32) Every other hex bit is a security hex. I did the same with the odd Torx sizes as well. For the price, the product is definitely worth the buy. However, I wouldn't recommend it with out appending it first. Said from a Sears Store associate point of view, With all the coupons coming out of the store for nearly every transaction, especially on tools....... Tis' The Season...

This set is a little misleading, it is an 83 piece set, but it only includes 51 different bits, including different lengths of the same size bit. There are many duplicates of the common bit sizes. One example is there are three of the short #2 Philips bits. This is convenient if you damage a bit and need another one right away, but I don't really need 3 of the same bit....

I used the bits the first day I received them. There is a nice variety of bits, extensions and attachments and it is easy to get them quicky. The pieces are very nicely organized and securely held in a lightweight case that stands up right for easy storing. This set has the known reliablity and craftmanship of Craftsman tools. A good value, too....
