Craftsman Clean N Carry 4 gal. Wet-Dry Vac, 5.0 Peak hp I have owned one for three years. Pros: Impressive suction for such a small vac, convenient to carry or roll. still works as well as the day I bought it. Minor drawbacks: accessory tray constantly falling off, flimsy hose constantly kinking. Major drawback: no blower port. I recommend it only if you don't need blower port.

The best shop vac we have ever owned. The suction is unbelievable for such a small vac and it rolls around so easy without tipping over. Long cord and hose. We had a big bulky shop vac that tipped over everytime you used it. This little vac can be rolled or picked up and carried with ease. I am so happy I bought it, can't say enough good things about it....

I was primarily looking for a compact sized shop vac to lug around for detailing cars. My choices here locally were this one, a shop vac from lowes, and a ridgid shop vac from home depot. All were similar in size and power. What sold it for me with this one was price, the fact that it has wheels for easy moving while using, and the 1 1/4" tubing. I was able to buy a cheap set of 1 1/4" accessories for auto detailing and slap them right on. Neither the lowes or home depot vac had this advantage because of the varying sizes of their vacuum hoses. This thing has tons of power, if you're pondering between a few different models I believe this is the best in it's class....

Bought vac for to help adopted pet clean-up. I was surprised it only came with 1'' hoses. The little accessory tray kept falling off and now the on/off switch no longer works. All this after 6 mos. It can now be found in a junk pile....

I have only used this vaccuum as a dry vac as of now but it is extremely worth the money paid. The hose is nice and flexible yet durable. The 20 FT cord is very appreciated. The suction is incredible. I have to step on the rug to get the head of the vaccumm off the rug. It's very light weight which is a godsend....

More than adequate capacity and power for my small garage and work area. Seems to do a good job of filtering out dust. Downsides are cheesy accessories, especially the hose, and the canister latch which is sometimes difficult to get closed....

I purchased this one to replace a shop-vac I purchased from Sears in 1974! The motor finally expired. The old one was a conventional shop-vac with no handle. This one is a great replacement, it has a handle so you can tote it around with one hand and it has a set of large wheels so it won't tip over when you tow it around. It is quieter and has as much or more power than the old one. I'd give it 5 stars but it has to work 30 years first....

We have two black labs that live in the house with us and because of them we have all hard floors through out the house. No carpet for us. After ruining a couple of expensive vaccums from sucking up to much dog hair we bought this and will never go back to a regular vaccum. The filter is super easy to change and the wheels move around perfectly on the floors. Love the extension of the hose and all the attachments. Would highly reccommend this for anyone. Especially those with pets....

I have this in the garage and use it primarily to clean my car. It is extremely convenient and I clean my car much more often than I did before. With the long hose I can reach the entire dash and other side of the car from the driver side without having to go around to the passenger side (for most light cleaning). The unit is also light enough and small enough to be used in the house on my stairwells, where a regular upright vacuum will not go. I did need to purchase a $6 brush attachment for two reasons. First, you need a brush attachment to not scratch your dash, etc. Second, the suction on this vacuum is so strong that the other tools tend to get stuck on the carpet floor mats (which on a car are not tied down well). You can get the same 1 1/4 in. brush attachment at any store that carries any brand of wet-dry vac....

LOVE THIS VAC Compared many similar. What more could you ask for in a wet&dry vac. Tremendous suction (5hp), carries your accessories, 20' cord so you don't have to drag it around as much - even has the fingers to hold onto the line cord so after you wrap the cord, it doesn't annoyingly come undone. But, if you do have to drag it around, it has wheels/casters. Solid construction ... NO need to hesitate - get it!...

I bought this for my husband for Christmas after doing lots of research and reading lots of reviews. He loves it, is impressed by the suction power, versatility, and size. The only drawback is the lack of larger nozzle for the bare floor so we went to Sears to purchase a larger bare floor nozzle. Now its perfect! Would highly recommend to others. The next size up is just too big. This is just the right size for our 3 car garage - what my husband really loves is the powerful horesepower in such a small and compact size. I rated this 4 out of 5 stars only because we had to buy the larger nozzle....

For 12 years we had an Oreck shoulder canister vac for household use. A great machine, but after 12 years it finally gave up. Faced with replacing it for $150, I explored other alternatives. When the Craftsman Clean n Carry was featured in one of my Craftsman Club flyers, I had to check it out. This handy little vac has enormous suction power and is quite manueverable around the house. It's got an extra long cord and hose which is nice. It's casters allow it to be pulled around easily, without marring the walls, and if you are inclined to carry it, it is light enough and well balanced for toting it around by it's handle. Should be great with pets. Minor cons: Since it does not use a vacuum bag, it is best to empty and clean or change the filter out of doors. It can be messy. It doesn't come with a floor tool, however you can add almost any 1-1/14 attachment on the market. I added an "ShopVac"-brand floor tool (sorry Sears) which has a button that switches it from floor to carpet use.......

Supper product for it's size. It's more versitile than the older heaverier and bulkier units especially for older people. This was a Christmas Gift for my father-in-law and he loves it. The only thing that needs to be added with the accessories is the Dusting Brush. I had to get one because that's the first thing he noticed that wasn't included....
