Best vac I've had. Powerful 4hp motor. Stores easily out of sight whennnot in use. Easy to carry and move around. Grea for car, boat etc....

Small and powerful, lightweight , easy to carry up and down stairs. I use this vac exclusively for all of my cleaning in and out of the house. I do not have carpeting but this baby is perfect for cleaning up the pet hair! Only one complaint, the hose kinks at the canister end, very annoying but the hose is still holding up!...

Bought this to replace my Craftsman 8 gal. that was over 30 years old, it's a hugh improvement. I use it mainly for cleaning out the cars, it has outstanding suction, & the size & shape make it easy to carry around the garage. The lugs that the cord wraps around could be a little larger, & I wish it came with a dusting brush (accesories seem overly expensive).

GREAT vacuum! I've done lots of research and its the best you can get for its size and the money.

I use mine for business (auto detailing) and it works great. I go through about one a year but I use it almost daily so I don't think that is bad. The only reason I buy a new one is because the replacement parts are too much. The only thing that goes wrong with them is the hose (kinks) and the power cord eventually pulls out from the base. To replace the problem parts it would cost me at least half the price of the vacuum( $15 replacement hose (which isnt the same), 12.99 filter, and the unknown price of replacing the cord, I might as well buy a new one.

That being said, I wouldn't buy anything else! Just wish Craftsman would fix the minor issues it does have. I wouldn't mind buying a filter here and there if that were the only problem.

Works great in the garage, car and home. Wheels make it easy to tote around plus you can pick it up very easy. It has great horsepower for such a small vacume, and nice attachments. The power cord is really long which is nice when in the garage or cleaning out the car. Hose locks on so it doesn't come off which is great when you pull on it. I wish it had a blower as well so it would be all around great, but that's if you need one.

The Craftsman 4 gal/ 5 horsepower Vac is great for small jobs around patio adn

garage. One annoying feature is that the small a-ttachments de-tach while using.

Would also be helpful to have a broader floor attachment included sine the price

is rather steep.

I bought the 4 gallon clean n carry wet-dry vac about 2 1/2 years ago and still love it. It's easy to access for small clean-ups as well as, large clean-ups. I use it when doing home improvement projects. It doesn't loose suction after longer uses. It's very durable, as it gets quite banged up when I am pulling it around corners of my house.

The only negative about the vac is the storage of the hose & power cord when not in use. The hose wraps around the sides in the built-in nooks, but is too long and ends up hanging off making it hard to store in small areas. As for the power cord, I just fold up and attach it to the handle with a "cable cuff." Problem solved!

I purchased this vac to replace one that I had that burned out. This vac is small but powerful and did a great job vacuuming my car this afternoon. I have only just purchased this so so far it has been a great buy.

This is basically a cheap plastic box with a blower motor and a flimsy pathetic excuse for a hose. The 'tools' would shame the lowliest Chinese factory. Then why am I rating it five stars? Because it is a MUCH better deal than Sears' Kenmore fancy $350 canister vacs for much of what you need around the house. It has stronger suction and does not require disposable bags. The home-type canister vacs are not better constructed - they do of course have a carpet attachment. Overall, for home use, I recommend one of these, which frequently goes on sale for less money than dinner out with your wife, plus maybe a dedicated carpet upright for the rugs.

I love the portability of this vacuum. It has power to spare and can get into places my Dyson (without taking it apart) can't. It was a great price and worth every penny! Now all I have to do is keep my husband from swiping it to his garage !!!

Had this vac for 3 years couldnt made a better purchase. Used it to vacuum everything from saw dust to water in the car, garage basement and around the house. It has never given me any problems. It would get a 5 star if it lasts a few more years.

I bought the 9 gallon vac first when we had a threat of a flood coming into our garage/shop. When it didn't we looked more at the size of it and decided we would try the smaller wet=vac instead. Boy am I glad we did! Not only is it easier to store since it is smaller but it gets in between our vehicles much easier. No more moving two or three items to get into that corner or between an aisle. The slimmer design works perfect! Now if only Craftsman could do something about that kinky hose and accessory tray! I have just removed the tray personally and carry the one or two attachments with me that I know I am using. Very seldom use more than that in any one day. Over all I give this an excellent rating for the money. Being a Craftsman Club Member I also enjoyed a $20 savings at the time I purchased which is also a bonus.

Love this little powerful vacuum! I have owned it for 1-1/2 years and still love it. It has all the features of a larger vac, but is much easier to maneuver. Everyone in the family uses it. I even bought another one 2 months ago for my son's wedding gift.

Only negatives are; it tips easily when being pulled around, hose kinks easily, the attachment caddy falls off easily (I removed mine), and the filter nut is tough to remove.

Would recommend to buy!

Pros: Impressive suction for such a small vac, convenient to carry or roll. still works as well as the day I bought it. Minor drawbacks: accessory tray constantly falling off, flimsy hose constantly kinking. Major drawback: no blower port. I recommend it only if you don't need blower port.

The best shop vac we have ever owned. The suction is unbelievable for such a small vac and it rolls around so easy without tipping over. Long cord and hose. We had a big bulky shop vac that tipped over everytime you used it. This little vac can be rolled or picked up and carried with ease. I am so happy I bought it, can't say enough good things about it....

I was primarily looking for a compact sized shop vac to lug around for detailing cars. My choices here locally were this one, a shop vac from lowes, and a ridgid shop vac from home depot. All were similar in size and power. What sold it for me with this one was price, the fact that it has wheels for easy moving while using, and the 1 1/4" tubing. I was able to buy a cheap set of 1 1/4" accessories for auto detailing and slap them right on. Neither the lowes or home depot vac had this advantage because of the varying sizes of their vacuum hoses. This thing has tons of power, if you're pondering between a few different models I believe this is the best in it's class....

Bought vac for to help adopted pet clean-up. I was surprised it only came with 1'' hoses. The little accessory tray kept falling off and now the on/off switch no longer works. All this after 6 mos. It can now be found in a junk pile....
