I picked these up when I was getting a new chainsaw (craftsman 34118). I figured they would help with my project, the combo took a 40' ash tree down to firewood in about 5 hours.

This is a great item for the money, especially since it is guaranteed for life. This item does cut the toughest of branches and it is easy and lightweight to use. I think will own this item for life. However, I have already put a dent in the blade. I am thinking about having it replaced. I guess the branch I tried to cut was too thick. Too bad this item was made in Taiwan.

Great sturdy tool with good leverage. Long handles make it excellent to get in to hard to reach places. Cuts close to ground.

Good tough cutters. Length is good for reaching but not to long making it awkward. Just like all other Craftsman tools IF it needs replaced it is done no questions asked....

My first experience with a pair of loppers came a few months ago with a cheap pair from Aldi. (Cost $7.99 and I did a LOT with them in a few weeks before they broke) Took them back wanting another pair but they did not have anymore. These were $24.99 (Full price) and I didnt want to pay that so I opted for a cheaper pair on closeout from *******. They were Fiskars Extendable Handles Bypass Lopper, 9166. Instore, they were $16.97 but they had an online special for $11.82. I bought via Discovercard for an additional 5% off. Net-net with tax they were $12.29. Similar quality as the $7.99 pair I got from Aldi but they extend for longer reach. I feared the Fiskars lifetime warranty would mean sending them back if they broke and spending $10 on shipping but I read that they just have you send a pick and they will ship you a new pair IF they break. Well, a couple weeks later, these better quality sears ones went onsale for $14.99. A one day sale. I bought these too. Much better quality &......

This is an awesome branch lopper to have around the house. I use it to trim the trees around my house so that they don't hit me when I cut the grass.

These are made very well. The frame is extremely sturdy,very efficient and light weight.

The main reason why I bought it in the first place was because of then lifetime warranty. I thought that it was going to break when I first bought them but, after using it a couple of times. I was very impressed there was no way I could break this lopper under normal use. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

Best $25 I spent in a long time. They cut great and make a tough job easy. My other top quality tool (non-Craftsman) cost a lot more and the handle snapped when I was cutting a branch. I will never buy another non-Craftsman hand tool. I recommend if you are looking for a tool like this, to stop looking and go get your job done. This tool will handle it. You will not find a better one. And it comes with the life-time guarantee. Cant beat that.

We have gone through many loppers as we have been cutting down many trees on our property. Some can not handle the thickness of the branches and others have just broken or dulled from use. These Craftsman Loppers have done the job and then some. Cutting through thicker branches like they were butter and continuing to work time after time. I will not go back to any other brand of lopper as these have done the trick and the whole family can use them with ease.

A good value. I bought this product for $20. The quality is good and it should last for a long time. Excellent for home use but professionals would want a nicer alternative; these could be tiring to use for large jobs.

Very easy to handle lopper. I was able to clean out all of the bushes on the side of my house with this. It easily cut through small to medium sized branches with ease.

I don't have a lot of pruning to do in my yard, so in the past I just borrowed pruners. But my rose bushes were looking pretty scraggly, so when I saw these on sale, I went ahead and bought them, because they are Craftsman (lifetime warranty) and it had very positive reviews.

I haven't used them a whole lot yet, but it did cut through my extra thick (1.5 inch) rose branches with just a little extra effort. The loppers feel sturdy and I'm confident they'll last a long time. Very happy with my purchase.

With all the rain we have received the last two summers, the trees and horse weeds have taken over my yard. I used an old pair of loppers and was struggling to cut the little trees, so I asked our maintenance man at work where I could buy some good loppers. He told me, "Sear." I felt really silly after all I shop at Sears regularly for appliances, garden equipment and so forth. He even reminded me of the Lifetime Warranty. What a deal! I have used them more than once, and I haven't acquired the usual blisters on my fingers. These are great, and I would highly recommend them to everyone. I am thinking about buying some Craftsman shears now!
