This won't be a complete review but here goes.

After nearly 15 years use I decided to buy a new Craftsman
riding lawn mower. Since changing belts has always been a
real pain in the neck I bought this lift. I haven't used it yet
but it appears to be very well made. I had to install the additional bar to the front of the mower but all the parts are included. I hope the lift helps changing belts easier. I have no complaints but don't forget I haven't actually used it yet.

Can't some one come up with a better way to propel a mower and its blades other than belts? This is such an ancient and poor technology. As I said it is extremely hard to replace them....

I liked the fact that I could order online and pick it up at the store for free. This is a great item and very easy to use. It was easy to put together, all the parts were in the box plus a couple f extra bolts, and went together in no time at all. I didn't have to buy a front bumper, because a stand-in for one comes in the box... I originally got it to simplify putting new blades on my tractor...I can now easily clean the bottom of my mower deck (without having to drive up loading ramps on the back of my pickup truck). Worth the money and it seems very stable, no fear when using. I'd recommend it....

This is one of those nifty tools you need with a lawn/garden tractor, and I'm glad Sears came out with one. Goes together quick and easy, and the unit itself is very sturdy and well-built. It's one of those things you'd get around to building if you had an arc welder and dimensional iron, but who has time for that kind of do-it-yourself work anymore? (I sure don't). Highly recommend this one....
