I am very happy with this generator. We have had to use it a few times and it starts very easily each time. We are careful to run only necessary electronics but have never taxed this generator. It is good on fuel and and not as noisy as many other smaller generators I have seen and heard.
...

I bought this generator when I lived in Florida and lost power during Hurricane Francis. I used it for 6 days straight and ran 3 refrigerators, some lights, Big screen TV, PC and 18,000BTU AC. I could switch out using the AC with electric hot water heater. Lost power a few weeks later(Hurricane Jeanne) and ran it for 7 days. Moved to Maine and ice storm of '08 I ran it for 5 days. This generator runs like a champ and I'm on sears now looking for one for a friend after he borrowed it for 2 days for current NH power outage. I get about 12 hours run time on a tank of gas, depending on whats running. In almost 6 years of ownership, I have had no problems at all and it starts 1st pull till this day. Inflatable tires on it make it easy to move, though lifting it into a truck takes 2 men or 1 very strong one.
...

Does what it needs to do - with no frills - quick easy assembly of wheels, pour in the oil and gas, one pull - you have power! Not totally quiet, but OK for use where it needs to be. Plenty of juice for what I needed it to power. Briggs & Stratton - 1/3 the price of the Honda....
