The stool is great. The price when not on sale is a bit high, but the sale price I paid made this an awesome value. I am very happy with the stool.

Very high. lost pressure. not wide enough at base to be stable. Foot rest is directly below seat so hard to comfortably rest feet. Back flimsy. Very poorly made. I see why they didn't sell at $79. I paid $39 and it still wasn't worth it.

I like this stool. It raises up really high and reaches my work bench with no problems. Seems like a real solid build and went together easy. I like the metal foot rest on the base, makes a nice place to rest your feet while you work on your projects. Only thing I would suggest, is maybe some more padding on the seat, gets a little tender when I'm in the shop too long. But hey, maybe I just need to work a little faster. :)

Comfortable stool with a nice lumbar back rest. Seat can go quite high and spins. Back rest has two adjustable positions vertically, and back rest can be adjusted towards or away from the seat. Fairly small seat is mostly overcome by sliding the back rest back so you can scoot yourself fully onto the seat. Hydraulic holds well. Most people would probably find that the stool would get uncomfortable if sat on for hours and hours, but it is a work stool - not a leather couch. Still, it looks nice and is very stable.

A decent stool considering price (1/2 off normal) but wouldn't purchase at any higher price. Yes, it's chinese made, mediocare quality like all things coming from China. The stool seat is small, perfect size for a Chinaman, but not so much an American. I'm not saying this because we are all fat, in fact I'm 6'4" 200 lbs. and quite fit. We are just bigger people in general. I purchased two, one for my 10 yr. old son and myself for our basement work bench to build model rockets and the other hobbies of the like. I think he'll find the seat just right, because as a 10 year old American BOY, he's about the same size as a adult Chinaman.

I would have happily paid double or triple normal price for an High Quality, American Made product, however its nearly impossible to find such products made in the USA. We need to stop importing so much garbage and build quality merchandise in the states again albiet at a higher price. I believe people would be willing to pay a higher cost for a...

Put it together in 10 minutes. Good instructions - easy to follow. Extra bolts/nuts/screws. Very solid design and very comfortable to use. Like the foot rest bar. Feels like it will last a long time.

needed extra tall stools for homemade bar counter in home theater. The chairs fit the bill to a T, but had to make a trip back to Sears because one box had parts missing. Otherwise good quality.

I needed an adjustable height stool for my shop because I spend hours at the scroll saw cutting patterns. This stool was a good deal and has been exactly what I needed. It went together quite easily, but I switched to my own screwdriver and Crescent wrench to finish assembling it. The stool is stable, comfortable and adjusts easily. Wish I had bought this years ago, maybe my back would be in better shape now. Have already recommended it to my son in law....

I went thru 2 other types of stools for my kitchen counter and they didn't last long. They broke while seating my husbands friends that come by now and then for a beer and a chat. My grandson broke one by keep swiveling on it. When looking to replace with ones that are sturdy I saw the, Craftsman Hydraulic Stool in the tool department at, SEARS with the hubby. I like the cushing seat and back. I like the toughness and quality and I figured with the name it shouldn't break fast. Well I have them (2) going on a year now and will be buying a 3rd. It's worth the money and SEARS stands behind their products....
