Could not be used to remove the rear tire on a 2001 Honda Shadow 600 VLX. After the rear tire was off I was able to use it to remove the front tire. the lifts were to wide and the jack was not low enough to get under my bike. Had to block the front to get the rear then I was able to put the jack under the rear section to stablize the fram and remove the front.
...

This jack is not great a choice specifically Harley's and especially if it's been lowered. But for any Harley, you might as well go ahead and remove the rubber pads from the lift because they will be torn off after a few uses. I've had my jack for over 4 years and all though it still works, when lowering the bike it starts bouncing. Also, if used for changing oil and transmission fluid, expect to get creative when trying not to make a mess because the jack is not service friendly....

I've had this for over 7 years now (got it in 2004). Got it as a gift, it works great, I've had no problems what so ever with this jack/lift. Great for lifting the various motorcycles I have owned, great getting them up to work on them, I've also used it to support my front differential on my Jeep Grand Cherokee too. I have had no issues, problems and mine still looks pretty mint, gues sI keep my stuff cleaned and in working order.
...

BBLAGG says "Craftsman Motorcycle Jack~Perfect for any job " about Craftsman Motorcycle/ATV Jack

This jack is perfect for our Harley Davidson Heritage Softtail Classic. It cost less than the recommended ones in the biker catalogs. It was available in-store (so we saved even more on shipping fees). It's easy to use, very sturdy, & we expect it will be durable as well since it is a Craftsman. We could not be more pleased with this purchase & would recommend it to others.
If you're in the market for a jack for a heavier bike, or any bike or ATV compare this to the ones in the specialty catalogs. You'll find the same features at a higher price with a shipping fee AND without the Craftsman name & quality. There is a Sears store near everyone, go get one!...

Hi

Can't beat this for the money. If your a owner of a bike,ATV, Go kart, Ect. Buy it.
It works great. The lock works well, moves around on smooth to rough concrete and asphalt and works just fine. I read a bad review on here and would disregard the comments. If your just the owner, operator and fix it yourself guy it's perfect. There are,,, three four hundred dollar aluminum jacks lighter and maybe a little more convienient if you want, but on sale for 99.99 makes this jack a great deal. I might tweek a few things as I see fit but.... I wouldn't have a problem raising a 10,000 dollar Harley or anything else for that matter as long as you have knowledge enough to know where to pick up the bike keeping the weight distributed evenly, within the jack rating and strapping it down. The only problem I would see at this point would be lifting a wide full dresser or something of that realm (be like balancing a golf ball on a needle. Can be used for other things also. Works great for dropping...
...

The bottle jack failed after one year. The jack was elevated and would not go down. I was very disapointed to learn that no repair parts were available from sears for the jack. I tried to repair the bottle jack but gave up when I became convinced that the bottle jack had a design flaw.

I was able to repair the Motorcycle/ATV Jack by replacing the bottle jack with one I ordered online from ****** ******* tools, a large tool importer. However some minor modifications were required to make it fit. Next time I will shop elsewhere.
...

DennisinNH says "Works on my 2007 Vstar 1300 with a little pull" about Craftsman Motorcycle/ATV Jack

With jack and me on the right side of the bike, I had to pull my bike toward me to get my Vstar 1300 vertical so I could get the stand completely under it. I then laid the bike back onto the kick stand. I was then able to lift it up ok.

I'm very happy that this jack included rachet/straps. I used them to keep the bike nice and stable.

I used this to install some Progressive Springs on the front and it worked out well.

I hope this thing lasts.

Assembly was pretty straight forward; the picture on the box really helps. The manual is half as lengthy as it looks because half of it is in Spanish.

The only downside I found is that the casters put marks on my garage floor. Transport could be interesting depending on your size/strength as it weighs about 80 pounds. I park the unit ahead of my car and drive up to where the front of the car is over it (but not touching it or the handle); this seems like a reasonable way to store it in a crowded garage.
...
