This is a very nice tool. It has a solid feel and nice ratcheting action. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it had a few duplicate bits. That's probably not a terrible thing if you lose one.

I purchased this Craftsman ratcheting screwdriver since I have so many uses and it is easy on the hands. This is a great addition to any tool set and a must have at the house. The bit holder is nice to keep them in place and from getting lost. The magnetic feature is great when you are working against gravity. This also works with the Craftsman drive set as an added thought. This tool replaces from having to carry around so many different sizes of other screwdrivers, torx and hex. The lifetime warranty on any Craftsman hand tool is a plus. I would recommend anyone who is a DIYer to get this tool.

I've had several ratcheting screwdrivers in the past and they weren't that useful. The direction selector mechanism was inconvenient and there was too much play in the ratcheting mechanism. But then I got this Craftsman model. It works great! The ratcheting mechanism is very fine and changing direction is easy. The bit set that comes with it has the most common sizes too.

I love this screwdriver. The bits are plenty beefy and the ratcheting action is among the best I've ever seen. My only complaint is that the handle gets dirty pretty quickly and once it's got grease on it, it's impossible to get it completely clean again.
Other than that, 5 stars!

I have three of these and the ratcheting mechanism has failed on all three. I do highly recommend it if you don't use the ratcheting part. The best part is it holds the screws magnetically until you get them started. The handle storage is good.

I have had some pretty cheezy ratchet sets that allow you to change bits but this set is not like that. If nothing else, the magnetic feature keeps the bit in the tool. It is comfortably heavy so you know you have a tool in your hand. The ratcheting mechanism works well and is easy to change directions or lock. The bits stay locked in the carrying cartridge. I do not use the handle storing feature but I could see where this would be handy. I bought this to carry in my on the road tool bag for my Harley. You Gold Wing guys go ahead and laugh but the set comes with standard and metric bits so I can help you out if you need it. It covers all the torx. hex and screwdriver bits I need for the bike plus I will use it around the house. This tool will take care of most fastener needs and has a comfortable grip. It is well made and should last for a long time. You have space and weight limitations on a motorcycle so this is perfect for me....

I like this screwdriver, I just picked up at sears a few days ago, so far it has worked out great. The ratcheting mechanism seems very durable as is the handle. The only problem that i found was the screwdriver can be a little heavy with the bits inside. I would definatly recomend this screwdriver to anyone. Great for the price....

This is a professional quality driver with a smooth ratchet that operates as advertised. The grip is somewhat large, but is quite ergonomic. It has ample recesses that allow for good comfort and considerable torque. It isn't a lightweight or consumer quality item, and is a good value when compared to other high end manufacturers. With regard to other reviews that assert problems with the magnetic tip, those are unwarranted. The inclusion of a magnetic tip DOES NOT suggest that the bits themselves will be magnetized enough to hold a fastener. That can occasionally happen with some drivers, but not always. That was never suggested in the product description, nor is it implied by sheer virtue of calling the tip magnetic. A magnetic tip is primarily intended to secure the bit to the driver, period. This driver does exactly that, and in a very efficient manner. For the money, I find this to be a good tool that is fairly priced when considering the quality and items that are included....

Adequate ratcheting screwdriver, but it is NOT magnetic. The tip holder is magnetic, but the tips ARE NOT. Kinda weird, because one would think that the magnatized portion would pass through the tip, but this does not. Dont buy this if you want the crew to stay on the tip during application!...

I like using this screwdriver. It does hold some bits in the handle and I like that they can't accidently fall out. However, accessing the bits isn't as easy as I'd like and you either have to remember what bits you put in there or cycle through all of them to find the one you want. I like the texture on the barrel since it allows me to use one hand....

Great screwdriver. Easy on the wrists with the ratcheting feature. Even though screwdriver doesn't hold bits it's got the most variety bits with the Holder which which keeps you prepared for any situation....
